I just realized how often I change the point of view... it's a lot. I think there's like 15 different characters that we've heard from... and counting.
Anyways, love you guys!
—————-Scorpia's POV———-
Loonie, Kyle (poor kid—he looked terrified), and Rogelio joined our side in battle. Other Horde soldiers watched as they got out of the tanks and stood by our side—some of them followed, but most of them just yelled a bunch of swear words at us.
"Let's get this over with," Lonnie yawned. "Any of you got an extra weapon?"
"Here!" I called, and tossed a staff to her.
"Sh*t," Adrien suddenly muttered. I looked over to see that he wasn't in his superhero suit anymore.
"What happened?" Catra asked.
"I knew I shouldn't have use my cataclysm!" Adrien groaned. "I have to go feed Plagg—I'll be right back."
"There's a plague that turns people into leather-covered cats?" Kyle wondered as Adrien ran back to the castle.
"No, idiot—" Catra started, but then she saw my stern expression. "Uh, I mean... sorry. Plagg is a kwami. He gives Adrien his powers or whatever."
"That's not important right now!" Lonnie shouted, throwing a staff at one of the tanks, then she ran to retrieve it. "We've got a war to win!"
—————Adrien's POV————-
I rushed through the halls of the palace, searching for a kitchen or some other room with food. Plagg stayed tucked in my shirt as I kept opening doors and turning corners.
"Lloyd, is that you again?"
I spun around to see Zephyr, who was holding a bunch of spears.
"Oh, hi Adrien—can you take these outside and distribute them around?"
"Sure," I said as she put them in my arms. "Did you say that Lloyd passed through here earlier?"
"Yeah, he handed y/n to me then ran back out," she said with a shrug, then turned around and waved goodbye. "Stay safe out there!"
"Wait! What happened to y/n?"
"She got shot by a tank. Nothing major."
"Nothing major?! Where is she?"
"I set up a bed for her in Entrapta's temporary lab—"
"Take me to her. Please."
"But the weapons—"
"Hey, you, sir!" I called to a guard passing by. "Please take these outside to the princesses. Now—Zephyr, take me to y/n."
She didn't argue, and led me to a staircase. We hurried down the steps, and passed through a couple corridors before we made it to the lab.
"Oh, Adrien!" Entrapta called as I walked in. "Are you drastically injured, too?"
Too? I repeated in my head. Y/n is drastically injured?
I turned to Zephyr. "You said it wasn't major!!"
"Sorry—I lied."
I stared at her in confusion, opening and closing my mouth. "Uh... Why?"
"Cuz I knew you'd react like this! You're supposed to be out on the battlefield, not in here trying to wake up sleeping beauty. She's fine, I promise— her vitals are stable and she isn't showing any signs of internal or external bleeding."
I walked over to the cot where y/n was resting and kneeled down beside it. I trusted Zephyr's judgement, but I still checked her breathing anyway. It was weak and kind of shaky, but it was consistent.
"How long has she been unconscious?"
"Almost an hour," Zephyr said. "I was going to give her some painkillers, but... she's asleep, so what's the point?"
I nodded in agreement, then I suddenly remembered Plagg.
"Hey, is there anything to eat down here?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm hungry," Plagg said, peeking out of my shirt. He must have been really tired—he normally was a lot more vocal than this.
"Oh, sure—here," Entrapta said, tossing a tiny cupcake to me. I handed it to Plagg, who swallowed it in one gulp.
"It's not Camembert, but it'll do."
I smiled as he flew off to see what Entrapta was working on—either that or he was searching for more food—then I turned my attention back to y/n.
"Are you sure she's gonna be okay?" I asked, placing my hand on top of hers. I didn't like seeing her like this.
"Probably," Entrapta said. "Of course, there is a chance that her body might shut down completely, but... I think she'll be fine."
"Well, that's reassuring," I muttered sarcastically.
"Really? Okay, good—I wasn't sure you'd buy that. But I shouldn't be surprised; it seems people will believe anything when they're in distress."
Zephyr noticed my alarmed expression.
"Don't worry," she said quietly, crouching next to me. "She's not gonna die—at least not yet. She's in a coma-like state right now, but Entrapta says She-Ra can heal her. That is, as long as Adora knows how to do that."
"You mean she's never done it before?"
"Apparently not, but there shouldn't be much risk to it," Zephyr assured me. "As long as her heart keeps pumping, she's going to make it through this."
