Jarren's POV

"It is really you, Leila." After saying that my tears fall from my eyes like they have their own life.

"Anak! I'm home- Oh! Sino ang binatang 'to?"

I instantly wiped my tears after hearing those.

"Teka, umiiyak ka ba, iho?" Sabi nito at lumapit sa'kin.

"Ah hindi po. Hehe."

"Wait, you look familiar," Sabi niya at inilagay ang kamay sa ilalim ng baba niya. "Aha! You're Karen and Javier's son right?" sabi niya at pumitik pa.

"Opo. I'm glad that you remember me, tita Marie." Sabi ko at nginitian siya.

"Ang laki laki mo na iho, at ang gwapo gwapo mo pa! Mas lalo kang gumwapo mula nung huli nating pagkikita. Sandali lang, nagkita na ba kayo ng anak ko?"

"Yes, tita. She's my schoolmate po kaya matagal ko na siyang nameet, actually our first meeting wasn't good."

"Patawarin mo sana ako, Jarren. Alam kong naguguluhan ka at marami kang tanong pero hindi pa ako handang sabihin sainyo ang mga nangyari noon." Sabi niya sabay hawak sa kamay ko.

"Tita, it's okay. I understand. Besides, I don't wanna know it yet. Even though there are a lot of questions that are building up in my mind, I am not ready to ask and you're not ready to answer. So, not now." Sabi ko.

"Ba't ka nga pala naparito at paano mo nalaman na ito ang bahay namin?" Nagtatakang tanong niya.

"Hinahatid ko po kasi si Leila pauwi galing sa school kaya nalaman ko po ang address niyo. And I'm here because I gave her the dress that mom personally made for her to wear for tomorrow's party. By the way tita, can I borrow her tomorrow? May party po bukas sa bahay, you are also welcome to come if you want to. Pwede po ba? Mom invited her kasi." Sabi ko.

"Oh sure! I wanna see your mom and dad. Matagal narin kaming 'di nagkita-kita. Susunod nalang ako bukas, just give me your address."

"-Mom? Close na kayo agad?"

Napatingin naman kami sa nagsalita at nakita namin si Leila na bumaba galing sa taas.

"Yup!" Sabi ng mom niya.

"Halaa! Hinipnotize mo ba mommy ko?" Sabi niya.
