Leila’s POV
This is it! The start of the foundation week! Excited much ang peg ko ngayon. At dahil excited na nga ako ay maaga akong nagising at naligo. Namili rin ako ng magandang susuotin. Tank top and drainpipes ang sinuot ko.
After fixing myself ay bumaba na ako sa kusina para maghanap ng food. At sakto pagkababa ko ay nandun na si mommy kasama si ate Lily, yung maid namin.
“Wow! You look good today anak,” sabi ni mommy pagkakita niya sa’kin.
“Err. Thanks ‘mmy. Foundation week starts today, remember?”
“Ah yeah, kaya pala maaga ka ngayon. Excited?” sabi pa niya.
“Yep. Tara kain na tayo,” sabi ko naman.
Habang kumakain ay biglang nag bring-up si mommy ng topic tungkol kay...
“So Leila, kamusta naman kayo ng boyfriend mo?” sabi niya sabay ngumiti ng pang-asar.
“Mommy!” nahihiyang sabi ko.
“What? I am just asking. Why are you blushing anyway?” sabi pa niya at nginitian pa ako ng mas nakakaasar.
Huh? Am I really blushing?
Grabe! Why does he have so much effect on me? Crush ko lang naman siya diba?
“I’m not okay? I didn’t put some blush-on in my face. And we are definitely fine mom. Definitely fine,” I said as I smiled out of nowhere.
Hala? Where did that even came from? Did I just said that we’re definitely fine? Hay, bahala na totoo naman kasi.
“I see. It’s good to hear that. ‘Wag kang mahihiyang magkwento sa’kin about your lovelife, I am your mom so don’t get uncomfortable when we are talking about that kind of topic. Alam mo kasi anak, ganyan din ako noon sa lola mo nung naging boyfriend ko ang daddy mo,” sabi niya.
What? Icompare ba ako sa sarili niya. Sino ang hindi mahihiya sa mommy niya kung ang pinag-uusapan ay love?
“Yeah right. Bye mom! Thanks gor the breakfast,” aalis na lang ako para hindi na humaba pa ang usapan. Hahaha.
“Okay. Bye Leila. Basta ‘yung mga sinabi ko ha?” I just nodded as a response.
I used my scooter princess today at wala pa namang traffic kasi maaga pa kaya nakarating ako sa school 1 hour before the official start of the foundation week.
