My name is Alida, from the house of Willfate. Ever since I was little, I have been raised by my father alone. In the house of Willfate, we stand to be strong and full of wisdom. By the age of 11, I was tasked to be the royal advisor for the daughter of the Nox Fleuret family, the future Oracle herself, Lady Lunafreya. My ancestors have been in touch with the Nox Fleuret ever since the house of Willfate was founded. My ancestors owe them as they had helped my ancestors live well. We pledge loyalty to them by giving them our best services. And here I am, Alida Willfate favored by the Nox Fleuret family to serve them. I was kind of nervous and scared, as I was told to mind my manners. The day has come to go to the Fenestala manor to begin my duty to serve the Oracle.
"Alida, please mind your manners around the young princess. I know that you can get carefree so easily."
As the carriage moved, the sound of my father was mixed with the sound of the horses' hoofs. Looking at my father, I threw my hands in the air.
"Of course, Papa! I'm going to try my best to serve Her Highness well, hehe!"
I smiled widely at my father, as I saw a slight curve on the edge of his lips. Patting me on the head with his large and warm hands.
"If only your mother is here to see you off, she would be really proud of you."
His eyes squinted with glassy eyes looking at me. I can feel some sadness from only looking into his eyes. As my smile turned into a slight upside-down curve, I hugged my father tightly and slightly sobbed on his tidy uniform. Lined with dark chocolate cloth, sewed with beige lines, with a few medals hanging on the side of his right chest. My tears had turned them into the colors of Black Walnut trees, around his left chest and shoulder. It's as if time has stopped for me to savor these last moments with my father before I stayed in the Nox Fleuret family manor. If only fate can be more kind, I would like to stay with my father a little longer.
As we arrived at the Fenestala manor, me and my father were greeted by the queen herself, Sylva Nox Fleuret at the front door of the manor. My father bowed to Her Majesty, and I also tried to bow. As I'm not used to it, I trembled a bit, Her Majesty noticed and chuckled.
"It's alright, Alida you can stand now. Welcome to the Fenestala manor, I hope your journey has no problem, I assume?"
My father stood back up straight," Not at all, Your Majesty. In fact, we were overjoyed of the pleasure of meeting you today."
Queen Sylva smiled and invited us into the manor, as she turned around the tail of her dress also follows. Maids shifting here and there, one of them moving my baggage into my quarters. The interior of the manor is elegant, with lots of Sylleblossoms symbol all around it. We were on our way to the Throne room, we passed the Manor's garden and I noticed a boy squatting down in the middle of the flower field. His short flowing silver hair, as the gust of wind, blows shows how delicate they are. His hair glistened as the sun's ray reflected on them. As he stood up, his posture gave such elegance and solid figure. He suddenly glanced at me and I quickly turned away, it's such an embarrassing moment for me. I hope I can see him again later to introduce myself.
A few moments later, we arrived at the throne room and saw many guards around the room. It's like an infinite number of guards ready to protect us at any moment. I was walking towards the throne and I saw a young girl coming out from behind a pillar. Queen Sylva gestured her hand to the young girl to come. Her eyes are so blue, like the sky, her blonde straight hair made me astonished, it's bright like the sun.
"Alida, dear. Let me introduce you to my daughter, Lunafreya. Lunafreya, meet Alida she is going to be your advisor from now on"
The princess ran towards me and grabbed my hand with hers.
