Alida POV

I slowly opened my eyes and remembered what happened before. Oh yeah, I fell asleep on the couch besides Ravus. I felt a hand wrapping around my right arm. When I looked to my left, I found Ravus sleeping. His head leaning against the back of his hand. I changed my position a bit and moved my face closer to his. His face is just filled with tranquil, sleeping so quietly. I brushed his long hair with my fingertips and gave him a wake-up kiss on the cheek.

"Wake up, sleepyhead." I poked his cheeks, watching him his eyelids opened.

He grunted and rubbed his eyes after waking up. He turned to look at me still half awake and half asleep. He then plopped his head on my shoulder, still wanting to sleep. I giggled and played with his hair.

"What time is it?" He asked with a low slurry tone

I take a look at the grandfather clock near the fireplace. Ticking away as the pendulum moves from side to side. It's still not too late, phew... I still got some time to prepare.

"It's twenty-four minutes passed three in the evening. We should prepare ourselves for the festival." I moved his hair to the side and cupped his face.

He groaned in complaint, he hummed in front of me. He's just so cute when he is like this, I can't handle this charm of his without blushing hard. I managed to pull myself and Ravus upstairs to my room. I have decided what to wear for the festival, I mean it's a date after all, right? Ravus got into the shower first...and it made me nervous. I wonder what he would wear for this occasion, I sat on my bed, my mind filled with ideas of clothes that compliments him.

"You can handle this, just don't pass out when his appearance is above your expectations," I said to myself, cupping my cheeks with my hands

Right then, Ravus stepped out of the bathroom all suited up. My eyes wandered all around his body from head to toe. A short-sleeved white shirt with partially floral patterns, his sunglasses hanging around his collar, his sword attached to his waist, along with grey long pants. It left me tongue-tied, gazing at his new flawless look.

"If it's like that then I will try a new style. To your eyes only will it be revealed."

He really did try it, just for me.

"Well, my dear. What do you think of this? Does it look weird?" He rubbed the side of his neck nervously.

I snickered and walked towards him, holding his face in my hands. I pressed my lips against his, pulling away quickly. Leaving him speechless, standing still like a statue.

"It's perfect. Now it's my turn to impress you" I smirked at him, stroking his lips with my thumb

"Well then, Alida. Go and prepare, it's almost time to go." Ravus replied with a lopsided smirk, holding to my hand.

"Alright, just wait for me there. I won't be long" I winked at him, disappearing into the bathroom.

I took a shower, thrilled about the idea of showing Ravus my outfit. I brushed my hair carefully, clipping a Hibiscus flower hair clip to my bangs. I dressed up and hid my daggers under my medium skirt with a strap. All ready, I took a step outside, finding Ravus standing in front of me.

"So, what do you think? Impressed?" I swayed my skirt around in front of Ravus

A coral-colored over-shoulder sleeve illusion top, cobalt medium skirt, cobalt leggings, and of course knee-high combat boots. Surely it's enough to leave Ravus' jaw open in awe. He rushed to hug me tightly and hid his blushing face over my shoulder.

"I-it's more than impressive....it's divine" Ravus stuttered, happily hugged me

"I'm glad you love it" I enthusiastically hugged Ravus back
