Those cries are like an angel's laughter, tears of joy flowed down my cheeks. I placed my hand on top of our baby, gently caressing her smooth silver hair. Her soft white pudgy cheeks, precious tiny lips, and fuschia colored eyes. Ravus closened his head unto mine, kissing my forehead yet again.

"You did excellent, my dear. Thank you... she is perfect" He smiled happily, his eyelids filled with those salty liquids, but ones filled with relief and delight. Tears flowed down his face as he couldn't control it. He leaned his head against mine, watching our little baby girl wriggle on my chest.

I carefully put her in my arms, admiring her tranquil face. I sobbed happily at how small and precious she looked. She slowly opened her tiny eyes both to me and Ravus, blinking lazily.

"Owh, Lilac. We finally get to meet each other. Mommy and daddy have been waiting such a long time for you to come out" I smiled at her, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. I tried to touch her tiny hands, getting a tiny grip on my index finger in return. A soft squeak came from her mouth, making my heart melted so fast. Ravus looked at our daughter with eyes full of affection, fidgeting his hands beside me. I think I know what he wants.

"Do you want to hold her, Ravus?" I asked, looking at him with a smile. His face went blank at the thought of it and silently nodded. "Although I'm afraid to drop her, she is very fragile after all." He replied, with a concerned face

"You will do just fine, here I will show you" I smiled, guiding his arms to Lilac's tiny body. As Lilac is in Ravus' arms, he starts to stand up and admire the little life in his grasp.

He chuckled, rocking her gently from side to side. Maria and the head doctor also shed some tears upon seeing the newborn in mine and Ravus' arms. Ravus showered Lilac with lots of loving kisses on her cheeks, hair, and head. I'm so ecstatic seeing Ravus already doting her even though she was only born a few minutes ago.

"She looks just like you, Alida. I guess I was right, she does take after you." Ravus said, with heart-filled-eyes. I leaned my body against the pillow, watching Ravus holding Lilac in his arms joyfully. "But who knows? Maybe she will take after your traits." I replied.

"Lilac, do you want to be like your dear mother when you grow up? Maybe you will have her scary and violent side in the future" Ravus scoffed.

"You can't decide that, Ravus." I sat up and protested, it ended up with him laughing in return. "But I do hope she gets some from your side, darling" I added.

The painful sensation I feel earlier diminishes with pure joy and warmth. I started to yawn from the fatigue, maybe I will take a nap later. My attention went somewhere else when someone knocked on the door. The door opened revealing an excited brother of mine, along with Callen and Luna.

Hammond POV

Earlier...

I paced myself back and forth continuously in front of the room, frightened by the trauma I had. I hope with all my heart that Alida can pull this through. I bit my thumb in stress, listening to Alida's screams of agony. My heart can't stop thumping wildly, both from fear and excitement. Callen then put her hand on my shoulder, reassuring me with her smile. I calmed down, hugging her in return.

"I know you're scared, Hammy. But she's going to be okay, trust me." She patted my back. "I-I am just....what if it happens again? What if I really lose her this time?" I replied anxiously.

"She's a strong one. Besides, you can't wait to meet our niece or nephew, right?" She put her hand on my face.

"Yeah, I can't wait to spoil her with fun things I can give to her." I chuckled. While we were standing in the middle of the hallway, someone cleared their throat. Both of us turned to look at Lady Lunafreya walking towards us. I bowed at her, so does Callen.
