A few months later

"Is everything checked? How are you with the dress? Is it too tight or too loose?" Luna said with a concerning tone as she fixes my hair.

I sat down in front of the mirror in one of the chapel rooms, prepping for my big day. Luna and other maids have helped me in putting my layered dress, from the bottom rack until the dress and veil. I sat still as Luna did some braids on my hair. I can't even believe it, today's finally the day.

"It's alright, Luna. Everything is fine, you don't need to be so concerned about me" I replied as I see her reflection on the mirror.

"But, Alida. I want you to look your best for my dear brother today. After all, today is the day both of you take a step into your new life as husband and wife." She stroked my hair, looking at my reflection with a pout.

I giggled at Luna's response, she is really determined about this. Just like when she helped me with all the planning all these months.

"Alida, how about this cloth? Is it to your liking?"

"What flowers should we use for the wedding bouquet? Oh, how about these ones?"

"I can help you with the hairstyle, Alida. You can count on me"

I looked at my dress, very pleased with how it turned out. A white illusion top, with over shoulder sleeves, long white silky gloves extending from my arm to my hand, with an A-line bottom dress. Just then, the door opened revealing my brother with his neat mocha-colored suit. My head turned around in excitement and it caught Luna's attention as well

"Hey, sis! And greetings to you, Lady Lunafreya" He waved at me and bowed at Luna.

"Greetings to you as well, Hammond" Luna replied as she finished braiding my hair

"Thank you, Luna, for fixing my hair." I thanked Luna with a warm smile

"Don't mention it, let's not make your brother wait." She giggled, pointing her head towards my brother's direction.

I nodded happily and walked over to my brother enthusiastically. He opened his left arm and hugged me, patting my back.

"Aww, it's great to see you doing well, big brother" I pulled away and looked into his grinning face.

"Well well well, Ravus is one lucky man, to have his bride as divine as this," He said with a lopsided smirk, checking me out from head to toe.

We both giggled ecstatically. He and father just arrived this morning. Luna who just stood there joined our conversation.

"By the way, big brother? Where is Papa?" I asked my brother with a confused face

"He is meeting with Ravus now. Don't worry, he's just saying his pleasantries to him" He replied with a smile on his face

He sighed as he brushed my bangs to the side.

"Can't believe that you, my little sister would marry earlier than me." He pouted desperately.

Me and Luna both laughed at his claim.

"Promise me that you would visit us back in Alnwick if you can. Don't want you to forget about us." He said with a pathetic smile

"Of course, I can't forget you even if I tried" I scoffed at him.

The three of us were interrupted by one of the maids telling that it's time for the ceremony to begin. My brother bid farewell and left the room, while me and Luna held each other's hands.
