A Leisure Time, A Jealous Heart

Alida POV

The sun's ray shone upon me again. Except it also shone upon Ravus' body as well. I woke up reminiscing what happened last night.

"I love you, Alida"

I smiled to myself, remembering those sweet words coming out of his mouth. He has shown me affection through actions and sometimes words even. That was the first time he said it directly to me. I tried to turn around towards his face, just to look at him. I stared in awe as his nose touched mine and I was a bit embarrassed too. Peaceful eyes, thick eyelashes, and his strands of silver hair covering some parts of his face. I sighed, admiring his looks.

"Good morning, Alida" He mumbled, almost giving me a heart attack.

Then he managed to slowly open his eyes, chuckling at me. I felt my skin crawling, flushing my face with red colors. I lifted my hands and held his face in it.

"Good morning to you as well"

We let go of each other's embrace and got up from the bed. Ravus went to the bathroom first to take a shower. While I'm choosing my next attire for today, a knock ringed on the door. I probably have known who that is by now.

"Come in" cutting the words short with an uneasy heart

The door swung open and revealed Hammond, still in his nightwear. His face looked guilty filled with uneasiness. I gave him the silent treatment, turning away from him

"So, uh...how are you doing?"

I kept my mouth shut, my hands resting beside my sides. I can hear him sighed heavily.

"I'm sorry, Alida. I shouldn't have barged in like that. Will you forgive me?"

I turned to look at him, still looking worried. He lowered down to my level, flashing his apologetic face. I took a deep breath and exhaled it

"Only if you keep this to yourself, and don't even tell Papa about it. I beg of you....."

I said, holding back my tears trembling. My brother continued to pat my head, his other hand on his waist.

"I promise I won't. You have me to lean on if he ever hurts you. But still, I will support you no matter what."

As soon as he finished, I gave him a quick hug, sobbing into his chest.

"Thank you, big brother" I said followed by a sniff

He hugged me back and pulled away from me. Putting his hands on my shoulders, his face turned into a cheeky one.

"Soooo...did you do it last night? Did my sister have her holiness gone in that one night?"

I got vexed by him, hitting his chest multiple times. I got mad and shook him furiously

"I-It's not like that! We didn't do anything weird! Don't you accuse me of such things, after all, he already made a promise to me" I shouted at him and then ended it with a soft tone.

I pouted my face as he laughed it all out. Although he is a jerk sometimes, he is one of the people that I really trust. Just then, Ravus got out of the bathroom alerted by my brother's presence. He looked at me and Hammond back and forth, still puzzled about the situation. Hammond stepped up and walked towards him, stopping right at Ravus' face

"It's alright, your Highness. I will keep this little secret between us, maybe I should call you my future brother-in-law from now on." Putting his finger on his lips, winking.

Hammond giggled, putting one of his hands on Ravus' shoulder patting it. But then his voice went deep and a scary face appeared.

"But do remember, if you do anything to hurt my precious dear sister. Prepare for an ass beating of your life, even though you're a king I'm still older than you "
