Months had passed since our wedding day, I was walking around the manor garden to get some fresh air. Smelling the beautiful and magnificent Sylleblossoms made me feel relaxed. I notice that I have been really sensitive to smells, especially food. When I got near any of them, I would start to get nauseous. And earlier when I woke up I felt really sick and threw up in the bathroom toilet. What could be wrong? Am I sick? Should I go to the medic?
"Alida!" A voice called out to me.
The voice came from Luna, she pranced towards me smiling. I opened my arms and hugged her. Her hair became longer, also she became more mature by mind and body. She may look like a fine young lady to anyone else, but to me, she is the cutest thing ever.
"It's so nice to see you again, Luna. What brings you here?" I asked her cheerfully.
"I was just about to ask you the same matter. Apparently I was in my free time, so I decided to take a walk." She replied with her bright smile.
This time of the year, Sylleblossoms are blooming everywhere in the garden. Reminds me of the first time I saw Ravus, what a splendid memory it is. I giggled to myself thinking about it.
"What's the matter, Alida. You're laughing by yourself" Luna asked
I snapped out and shook my head.
"It's fine, Luna. I'm only reminiscing the memories I had here in the garden." I replied, grinning bashfully.
"Ooohh, what kind of memories?" She gave me a smug look
"That's none of your business, Luna." I chuckled, lightly hitting her shoulder as I covered my mouth with my free hand.
I like having her with me like this. She's the closest friend I ever have since I moved here. I was her advisor too, so add that into the list. Although most of the time, she went on some business trips like Ravus. Having her as a sister-in-law is a big plus. I felt an uneasy feeling in my stomach just now. It caused me to feel rather fuzzy and weird. I hold my stomach to ease the pain, but when I do, something is odd. I felt a slight curve and the muscles around it are tight.
"Are you alright, Alida? Let's return to the manor, it's getting a little chilly out here." Luna convinced me with a worried face
I nodded and followed her inside. But I can't shake off the feeling of that sudden sensation. I returned to my quarters and plopped down on the bed. My mind went absent, thinking deeply about what was happening to my body. What should I do?
I laid my hands on top of my stomach once again, caressing it gently. I have read in books when a couple does that, there's a chance that the women might get....wait....what if. I shot up and looked down on my stomach, lost for words. What if I'm pregnant? My heart thumped really fast.
I got starstruck by the idea of me being with child. Mixed feelings are flowing through me, happiness, and anxiety. Maybe I will need to go to the medic, just to confirm my suspicions. I got up and rushed to meet the family medic. As I walked throughout the hallway, I saw a familiar figure with silver hair flowing down his scalp. I sneaked in carefully behind him, wanting to surprise him. I hugged his back as I got close, making him flinch unexpectedly.
"Whose hands are these wrapping around my body?" Ravus asked with a demanding voice, holding my hands.
"Why your wife's of course, who else is brave enough to surprise you like this?" I laughed
He rotated his body around with a mischievous smile upon me. We leaned for a quick peck on the lips, ending with him patting my head. His left hand full of papers and documents for work.
