CHAPTER SIXTEEN:
THE JOURNAL

harvey opened the door and let sammy in, he wasn't expecting him to be here.

"w...what are you doing here" harvey asked, his voice still a bit shaky from crying.

"kenzie" sammy told harvey.

harvey's heart stopped. he assumed something bad had happened.

"she loves you" he held a journal. harvey looked a little confused. "what" he asked.

"look" he opened to a page in the book. harvey gave sammy a worried look. "read it then" he told him.

"i...i cant" harvey told sammy.

sammy had just assumed that harvey was lying when he told kenzie that he hadn't been to school, but he must have been telling the truth.

"i'll read it to you then" sammy told him as he held the journal up.

"today at dinner i got a phone call from harvey, when i read his name my heart began to race. it was a feeling i'd never experienced, i felt so happy. i was trying to ignore it but not only was my dad telling me to answer it but so was my heart. just hearing his voice made me get butterfly's. today was the day i realised i was in love with harvey mills"

harvey sat back for a second to take it all in. "you have to be joking" harvey told him.

"i'd never" sammy reassured him.

"i need to go anyway, if my parents find out i'm here, i'm dead for sure" sammy said as he walk to the door.

"i know you love her too"
