Chapter 26: Mr. Sniffles Save The Day
Sara's POV:
"Jaydenn," Jack say's, "You do know that I-" I cut him off by throwing a silver knife, but only at his thigh. I hit my target and he simply groans. My eyes widen when I realize my silver knife is gone, that was just a regular knife. He reaches down and pulls the knife out.
He tosses it to the ground and looks at me with hate.
"She is none of your business. You were never a part of her life and your not about to be. If you do I'll-" He interrupts me.
"You'll do what? Kill me?" He ask's, smirking at the end.
"I'll sure as h*ll try." I growl at him. I shed my jacket and get in a fighting stance. He shifts into a solid black wolf. Wow, him and Dean really are polar opposites. Once he realizes I'm not going to shift, he shift's back human.
I fight better in my human form.
I look at my jacket and that's when I remember, my silver gun is in the right pocket. He fallows my gaze and realizes what I'm doing. Our eyes connect and in a split second were both going for the jacket.
I think quickly and stop myself. As soon as he bends over to grab it I throw my foot forward and kick him in the head. He fly's backwards and holds his nose. And of course, me and my smart self, I bend down to get it and only for him to return the favor. The only difference is he kicks me on the side of my head with the bottom of his shoe.
I feel like were little kids fighting over a toy. I hear a few immature pack members chuckle, one being Drew of course.
We both get up and wait for the other to try something. You know what, I don't care about the gun anymore. I've just got to make sure he doesn't get a hold of it.
I throw a hit and he looks barley effected my it. I guess this is what it's like to fight an Alpha. He returns it and I hit the ground. I look and see Drew holding Dean back from attacking Jack.
He shifts and goes to jump on me, so I push the blade out of my shoe and throw my foot up when he gets close enough. I don't even have to kick for him to hit my foot hard. He whimpers and backs up, what looks like boiling blood coming from his chest.
He looks at me and growls. I take my chances and shift, standing up in the process. I see some pack members back up, acting intimidated.
He shifts and charges at me, tackling me with a harder impact then predicted. When I hit the ground the air is knocked out of me. He claws at my chest and gets one good gash before aiming his jaws at my neck. I keep turning my head in order to avoid his teeth.
I get my feet, well, paws, in a good position and I shove him off. I tackle him as soon as he's off but I only put myself in a worse position. Somehow, someway, he kicks me just right and I hear my leg snap.
I let out a growl of pain and fall off of him. I shift human and balance on one leg, praying for a miracle. Drew suddenly does something that is completely expected of him.
He shouts, "Mr. Sniffles saves the day!" and throws his arms up in the air, causing Jack to look away from me and towards him. For once I'm grateful for Drew's idiocy.
I lunge for the jacket, pull the gun, and shoot. I watch as he falls to the ground, shifting human. I lay my head back and just lay on the ground for a minute. I suddenly hear cheers erupt through the crowd.
I stand up and Dean begins to run towards me. He stops and his eyes turn to horror. Everyone is silent and I look down. The feel of fire erupts in my stomach at the iron knife now stuck there. It's the same knife I had mistaken as silver. I hear Jack fall to the ground behind me, this time gone for sure.
I grab the handle and pull it out and stare at the blood pouring from me. The last thing I remember is Dean, Drew, and Jaydenn running towards me.
