"Mommy naman! It's so rude that you didn't inform me that my ex is the head engineer of that project!" sigaw ko habang pabalik balik na naglakad sa harap ng camera.

"I know pero alam naman natin na hindi ka papayag pag-sinabi namin na siya and head engineer sa project." Mmmmy explained. I stopped walking and sat in front of my laptop.

"Talaga! Do you think I would be comfortable seeing my ex everyday? God! Nakita mo naman kung paano ako nagluksa noon! I thought you and daddy hate him? Bakit ganito na ngayon?" 4eklamo ko.

Way back then daddy was so mad at Engineer Falcone. Sinira daw kasi ang tiwala niya ganon rin si mommy pero ngayon? What the hell is happening?

"He's one of the best kasi anak. So we have to set aside our personal feelings and be professional." halos matawa ako sa sinabi niya.

"One of the best naman pala! Edi sana kinuha niyo ang ibang best or the best of the best and not him!" I said shrinking in anger and irritation.

"He is the best of the best." nanahimik ako sa sinabi ni mommy. Tumikhim ako.

"Still he's my ex. I hate him mommy and my gut can't take seeing his face everyday." mas mahina ang boses na sabi ko ngayon. Huminga ng malalim si mommy.

"Can't you just forget it? It's all in the past. You were still in college at that time." I faintly smiled at what mommy said.

"I can never forget it mommy. I don't think I can ever forget." mahinang sabi ko.

"Is she complaining already?" Tumuwid ako ng pagupo nang marinig ang boses ni daddy. Soon daddy's face is already in my screen.

"Aubrielle-" I cut him off.

"Isla daddy. Isla." Nakangiting sabi ko. Daddy narrowed his eyes at me.

"Me and your mother named you Aubrielle Isla. Kaya wag mo akong isali sa mga kaibigan mo na tinatawag kang Isla." mabilis kong pinaikot ang mata ko para hindi niya makita.

"If you say so...." I said, dragging my words.

"I will not tolerate this kind of childish action Aubrielle. For the past years hinayaan kita sa pagmo-model model mo! Kahit wala kang ginawa para sa mga kumpanya natin hinayaan kita. Now you have to help us and stop being a pain in the ass!" ngumuso ako at umirap.

"Then why didn't you make a new baby!" sigaw ko.

Bakit nga ba kasi hindi? And we already talked about this. Na si Xavier nalang ang bahala pero bakit ba lagi kaming nag-uusap tungkol dito? I think my father is going crazy. Last time, months ago he told me to get married and have a son or a daughter para siya ang mag-mana sa kompanya. My reaction when he said that was unexplainable. Surprisingly mom agreed to that thought.

"Aubrille Isla!" sigaw ni daddy. His veins in the neck are showing.

"Okay, okay! Chill I'm just joking!" sigaw ko at umirap.

"Stay professional and act like your age. Hindi ka naman namin pinipilit na kausapin siya." si daddy. Kung alam niya lang talaga na ganon rin ang gusto ko!

"Okay, I know but an hour a day? Daddy, that's just so long. Wala naman akong naiintindihan doon and we all know you can call Engineer Falcone and ask him personally about the progress. So bakit kailangan pa ako doon? I just space out there and when they try to explain things I simply just don't understand." I said.

"Nag-iisa ka lang naming anak at pag-nawala na kami ikaw talaga ang mamamahala sa kumpanya anak. You go there to learn too so please just accept this." Pagmamakaawa ni mommy. Huminga nako ng malalim.
