"Mommy, I'm staying in New York for a week. I have a shoot there." imporma ko kay mommy.

"Okay when's your flight?"

"Midnight." sabi ko habang inaayos ang mga gamit ko sa maleta.

"Did you inform Dylan already?" she asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Mommy how many times do I have to tell you that we're just friends." ilang beses ko ng sinabi iyan. Kung hindi kay mommy kina Amelia at Aisha but like mommy, they don't believe it.

"I didn't say anything! Just inform him since your friends right?" hindi na lang ako nakipagtalo at inayos ang mga gamit ko. Around four in the afternoon I went to the site.

"Hey...." I greeted him. He smiled as soon as he saw me. He greeted me with a hug.

"Umupo ka." he offered. Umiling ako.

"Actually I'm just here to tell you that I'll be gone for a week." nagsalubong naman ang kilay niya sa sinabi ko.

"Saan ka naman pupunta?" bakit parang guilty ako? E magtratrabaho lang naman ako!

"I'm off to New York. Work." simpleng sagot ko. Tumango siya at hindi na umimik. Don't tell me he's mad again?!

"I'm not mad." kinunotan ko siya ng noo.

"Wala naman akong sinasabi!"

"Your expression says it all Aubrie." nakibalikat nalang ako.

I'm not sure if I'm transparent or he can just read through my mind. It's weird though but I just shrug it off.

"I'll be going. I still have a lot to prepare." pagpapalam ko.

"Okay, take care. Don't forget to eat." I rolled my eyes but then smiled.

Tatalikod na sana ako kaso tinawag niya ako. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. Tumayo siya at dahan dahang lumapit sa akin. He then spread his arms and I almost rolled my eyes but I stopped myself and just smiled.

"Arte mo."

"Friends remember?" bakit para ako pa ang na friend zone? I lazily hugged him. But I felt him tightening the hug.

"Take care okay? Mahal kita." he stroked my hair and I felt a little bit relaxed.

"Love you too." he held both of my shoulders and looked at me with his eyes wide open. Surprised at my answer.

"W-what?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya.

"As a friend." Ngisi ko. He groaned and glared at me.

"Paasa!" humalakhak ako. Ang cute niyang tingnan. Parang bata.

"Hindi mo kasi ako pinatapos eh." ngumuso lang siya. "Aalis na ako. Bye!" I waved and he waved back before I went back to my car.

bumalik na ako sa condo ko and made sure everything is ready. In the middle of checking if everything is fine. Aisha came by.

"Grabe Aubrie! Kung hindi ako sinabihan ni Amelia na aalis ka hindi ko malalaman! What a friend!" Inirapan ko siya at chineck ang maleta ko.

"Ang oa mo. Sa kakasama mo kay Xavier nakuha mo na ang oa niyang attitude." Inirapan niya ako.

"Pasalubong ha!" paalala niya.

"I'm there to shoot Aisha, not for a vacation." she crossed her arms and kept annoying me.

After an hour umalis na din siya dahil may kailangan pa siyang gawin. Nagpahinga lang ako at maya-maya ay dumating ang manager ko at pumunta sa Airport. I turned off my phone and prepared for our boarding. Maya-maya ay nakalipad na ang eroplano. This flight has no stop overs so instead of talking I just slept.
