You are laying in the hospital bed after giving birth to you and your boyfriend, Jamie, daughter Makayla Alia Benn. Jamie had stepped out briefly to take a phone call when your doctor came in with little Makayla.
Y/N: “Hello doctor.”
Doctor: “hello (y/n). The nurses looked over Makayla and determined she is perfectly healthy.”
Y/N: “Oh thank goodness!”
Doctor: (nods) “would you like to hold your daughter?”
Y/N: “Yes (takes Makayla out of the doctors’ arms)”
Doctor: “I’ll leave you alone (walks out of the room)”
Y/N: (holds little Makayla) “you look just like your daddy.”
Jamie: (walks in, sees Makayla and smiles)
Y/N: “here daddy, it’s your turn.”
Jamie: (nervous) “no it’s okay. Um I read that babies need to have a chance to connect with their mother.”
Y/N: “Baby I can tell you’re nervous, it’s written all over your face. But trust me, once you hold her the anxiety will disappear.”
Jamie: (hesitantly takes Makayla and slowly starts to be less anxious) “she’s perfect.”
Y/N: “She looks just like you.”
Jamie: “She has your eyes”
Y/N: (nods, watching Jamie rock Makayla)
~ 4 years later~
Jamie: “Kayla! C’mon baby girl, uncle Jordie and uncle Ty will be here soon.”
Makayla: “TYLER?! Daddy uncle Tyler coming?!”
Jamie:” Yes baby girl.”
Makayla: (claps) “Uncle Ty best! He bring me presents!”
Jamie: “Yes he does, but you know what he doesn’t do?”
Makayla:” What?”
Jamie: “He doesn’t play the TICKLE MONSTER! (tickles Makayla)”
Makalya: (squeals with laughter, sees Tyler) “TYLER!!!!!!!!!!!”
Tyler: “Hi baby Kay.”
Makayla: (glares) “ I am NOT a baby!”
Tyler: “oh, that’s too bad. I only bring presents for little kids. Not big girls like you.”
Makayla: “Uncle Ty, I a baby, I a baby! (grabs one of her little brother Mikey’s bottles and pretends to drink out of it) See?”
Tyler: (laughs) “ I don’t have a present today.”
Makayla: (pouts)
Tyler: “But Jordie and I wanna take you and your daddy somewhere that’s a lot of fun.”
Makayla: “ WE’RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND?!:”
Tyler:” Um, no. We’re going to do your second favorite thing.”
Makayla: “HOCKEY!”
Tyler: “You got it munchkin.”

Makayla: “Daddy?”
Jamie:” Yes baby girl?”
Makayla: “I love you, you the best daddy ever.”
Jamie: (tears in his eyes, pulls his baby girl in for a hug) “I love you too Makayla”
