Tonight is the night, you’re going to your boyfriend Gabe’s game tonight. You’re gonna be sitting with the other “Wags” (Wives and Girlfriends). And you’re scared as hell.
Gabe:”Babe, you’re still coming right?”
Y/N:”Um, yeah, I guess so…”
Gabe:(knows something’s bothering you)”What’s wrong?”
Y/N:”Nothing.”
Gabe:”Babe, tell me. I want to help.”
Y/N:”I just…. What if they don’t like me?”
Gabe:(confused)”What if who doesn’t like you?”
Y/N:”The wags.”
Gabe:”Babe, they’ll love you. They only shun the puck bunnies that won’t be around long term. If any of them give you trouble Talbo’s wife (Cynthia) will protect you, I promise.”
Y/N:”She will? Why?”
Gabe:”Max loves you to death. Remember the first time I introduced you to him?”
Y/N:(laughs) “yeah we got along really good, he was joking about us being separated at birth.”
Gabe:”Exactly. He loves you like a little sister. He’ll make sure Cynthia takes good care of you if the other wags try anything.”
Y/N:”Okay. Have a good game. I’ll see you at the rink.”
Gabe:(gives you a kiss)”I love you babe. See you soon”(walks out the door)
