Chapter 11

                         When Isla wakes up, she sees sparkles. She turns to Jasper and sees him standing in front of his window as the sun shines in, in a T-shirt. His skin is gleaming like a diamond ring in the light. Jasper feels her eyes on him and he turns, Isla smirks at him.
                      "I already knew you were a beautiful specimen of a man," Isla sprays with a smirk and Jasper quirks an eyebrow, "but now you're like a diamond. God! I knew Forks was a good choice for me."
                      Jasper throws his head back in laughter, a sound so foreign to the family and it Isla. "A diamond? Really? Isla, I'm no diamond."
                   "Don't tell me that when you're literally sparkling like a diamond ring in the light," Isla purrs as she walks up to him and she stands close. "Am i too close?"
                     Jasper's smile drops and he looks at her, "not close enough, ma'am." He sudddnly grabs her by the waist and pulls her close before connections their lips. "Now, you go to school and learn something scientific."
                       Isla grabs some clothes before finding a bathroom. She dresses in some denim shorts, a yellow short sleeve with daisies covering it, and she some converse low tops. She has missed dressing like this. She looks in the mirror Alice placed in the room and she goes downstairs.
                        "You are so cute!" Alice chirps. "Have a good day, and tell Bella I said hello." 
                        Isla smiles and she leaves our, Jasper watches her form the balcony as the blonde gets into her car and leaves. Isla parks beside Bella's truck this morning since the Cullens are gone today. Bella is thrilled for dee at least 'one of them' today as Isla joins her and Jessica at the tables.
                           "He's not here," Jessica says to Bella as Isla lays back on one of the rest tables beside Bella. "Whenever the weather's nice, the Cullens disappear," she continues as if Isla isn't there, Isla is glad that her presence didn't stop Jess, to be honest.
                             Bella glances at Isla and then back at Jessica. "They just... ditch?"
                       "They went hiking," Isla lies with ease.
                       "I tried that with my parents," Jessica claims as she turns her head to look at the girls over her shoulder. "Not even close."
                         "I'm going to prom with Eric!" Angels squeals as she suddenly bounds over to Bella. "Oh! Hi, Isla!"
                        "Eric, huh?" Isla grins.
                         "Yeah!" Angela beams. "I just asked him, I took control!" She gives Bella a hug and asks, "are you sure you have to go out of town?"
                            "It's a family thing," Bella claims.
                       "Oh, my god," Jessica gasps as she joins them, "we need to hit the stores in Port Angeles before the dresses get cleaned out."
                         "I'm going with Rosalie and Alice tonight," Isla claims. "Best time to get them before they're all gone."
                        "Exactly," Jessica smiles.
                        "Port Angeles?" Bella inquires, having a plan in her mind. "Can I go with you guys?" She asks Jessica.
                            "Thank god," Angela sighs. "We need your opinion."

                         Thankfully by the afternoon, a few clouds covered the sun and Alice decided they should go on to Port Angeles. They all take Rosalie's car while Emmett played with Ronny and Rosa in the back yard. Rosalie drives in a slow speed so that she doesn't scare Isla too much as she drives to Port Angeles.
                      "What's the latest gossip at school on us?" Rosalie asks, she thinks it's way too quiet, even with Alice's Justin Timberlake cd in her prayer.
                        "That on sunny days, you guys disappear," Isla replies. "That Carlisle and Esme pull you guys to go hiking or camping, I told Bella you were hiking." 
                         Rosalie smiles to herself. "I have a question... I hate to ask it but do you want to become a vampire?"
                       "Do I want to die, you mean?" Isla asks. "No, I don't. I very much like being alive."
                          Rosalie grins. "Good."
                          Rosalie pulls up to a boutique and Isla sees Bella inside wirh Jessica and Angela. Rosalie, Alice, and Isla head inside anyway and go to a dress rack. Jessica hawks at the Cullens and she waved at Isla, who waves back before she focuses on looking for a dress that will knock Jasper off his feet.
                       "Here," Rosalie says and she hands Isla a shorter dress, it's a goldish/tan color. "Try this on."
                         Isla grans the hanger and heads to a dressing room as Jessica enters one with a pink dress. Isla tries the one Rosalie picked out and she walks out. Rosalie gasps amd Alice beaks. Isla joins Jessica amd Angela at the mirrors, and she grins.
                         "Wow," Isla breathes. "I look good."
                          Alice smiles. "Jasper won't know what to think."
                           Jessica looks in the mirror, too. "I think this halter makes my boobs look big."
                           "I like it," Alice compliments, surprising Jessica. "It's cute and it matches your skin tone."
                            "Thank you," Jessica gushes. "What do you think, Bella?"
                             Some guys best on the window and Jessica grows nervous. Rosalie sends the guys a cold look and they flee quickly. Angela sends Rosalie a thankful look.
                          Jessica looks at Bella, who is on her own little world. "Bella?"
                           Bella looks at her friend. "It looks great," she replies absently.
                          "Well, this is my dress," Isla says. "Rose, Alice, are we getting shoes and accessories here?"
                         "No, ma'am," Alice chirps. "We'll see you girls! Hi, Bella."
                           They purchase their dresses with Rosalie's black card and they walk to Rosalie's car. They put their dresses in before walking to another store for shoes and accessories. Alice is excited for prom, and she was thrilled for this shopping trip. She told Isla that she already sees her as a sister and when Isla agreed to a shopping spree in Port Angeles, that just made Alice even happier, if that's even possible. 
                              After spending a couple more hous shopping for dress, shoes, accessories, and many other clothing items, the girls all finally return to Forks to appease Jasper's mind. Rosalie promises to keep Isla's prom dress and accessories in her bedroom so that Jasper doesn't see. The girls all want to surprise Jasper with how beautiful Isla will look on prom night.
                             "There's my favorite diamond," Isla comments as she goes into Jasper's room, finding him in a tank top and some jeans. "You're dressed down. I like it."
                           Jasper looks up at Isla with a small grin. "Come over here. I've missed you today."
                          Isla grins and she walks over, she sits on Jasper's lap and he grabs her face and pulls her down, come crib for their lips. Jasper growls as he deepens the kiss and one of his arms wrap around Isla, and pulls her closer, Isla moves to straddle Jasper and his hands grip her hips harder than he intended but Isla doesn't react, she pulls away first this time.
                           "See?" Isla coos as she puts Jasper's face in her hands. "You're getting better, my diamond."
                         Jasper nuzzles his face into the crease of Isla's neck, he knows she's right. He is getting better, and she has been a big help in that part of him. His control. Jasper has always had a hard time controlling himself around humans, being close to them. But with Isla, it's different. He can put his nose right up to Isla's veins and nto he tempted. Given that her blood does still sing to him, it makes it harder for him to resist but out of possible love and fear of losing himself completely, he fights against the urges and for that, he is grateful Isla moved to Forks and entered his life.
                                 Isla goes to the bed Jasper put in his room for her and she lays down, knowing her dogs are with Emmett and Rosalie, and happy. Jasper walks over and he joins her, but he stays on top of the blanket so he doesn't freeze Isla to death. He rolls onto his side as Isla's breathing slows and sees she's asleep. Jasper closes his eyes to rest them and he listens to Isla's steady heartbeat and breathing.
