Aro and his army walk across the snow covered field. Isla is in between Athenadora and Sulpicia, begins the kings. Aro, Marcus, and Caius stand in the front as the royalty they are, looking badass. Jane and Alec are near Aro, side-by-side.

Carlisle stows forward from the Cullens lineup of witnesses. "Aro, let's discuss things as we used to. In a civilized manner."

"Fair words, Carlisle," Aro replies. "But a little put of place, given the battalion you've assembled against us."

"I can promise you, that was never my intent," Carlisle claims. "No laws have been broken."

"We see the child," Caius sneers. "Do not treat us as fools."

"She is not immortal!" Carlisle proclaims. "These witnesses csn attest to ruse. Or you can look. See the flush of human blood on her cheeks."

"Artifice!" Caius exclaims.

"I will collect every facet of the truth. But from someone more central to the story," Aro says. "Edward, as the child clings to your newborn mate, I assume you are involved."

Edward looks at his wife and then he walks toward the Volturi guard, and up to Aro. Isla tenses and suplicis secretly takes her hand to relax her. Athenadora takes Isla's over hand as Edward nears. When Edward is close enough, Aro takes his hand. He and Isla read his thoughts of the child.

"I'd like to meet her," Aro states.

Edward turns and he looks at his wife and child. Bella, Renesme, Wolf Jacob, and Emmett walk toward Aro.

"Ah," Aro muses. "Young Bella. Immortality becomes tou." He looks at the child and he lets out a shriek of laughter, hearing the child's heart war, making Isla flinch a little. "I hear her strange heart." He holds out his hand.

Renesme steps closer and Isla watches her intently. "Hello, Aro," the child greets and she places her hand on his cheek, using her own ability.

Isla's eyes grow in awe and wonder as she reads the thoughts of thrm both, not sparing Edward and Bella a glance. She looks at Aro.

"Magnifico!" Aro gasps. "Half mortal, half immortsl. Conceived and carried by this newborn, while she was still human."

"Impossible!" Isla and Caius day in unison, and Isla snaps her eyes closed.

"Do you think they have fooled me, brother? Darling Isla?" Aro asks as they return to the other witnesses.

"Bring the informer forward," Caius demands, and Irina is brought forward. "Is that the child you saw?"

"I'm not sure," Irina replies, scared.

"Jane..."

"She's changed," Irina says quickly. "This child is bigger."

"Then your allegations were wrong," Caius says and Isla inhales deeply.

"The Cullens are innocent," Irina says and Isla looks down at the snow covered ground. "I take full responsibility of my mistake. I'm sorry."

"Isla," Caius says and she steps forward.

"Caius, no!" Edward exclaims; he doesn't want to see Irina dead and he knows this kill will ruin Isla permanently.

Isla stems forwaes mad she uses her hand to knock Irina's head off of her shoulders. "Stronza," she mutters in Italian befofe rejoining her rank.

"Irina!" Tanya wails.

Caius steps forward and he sets the body on fire. "Isla, go into a tree and you remain safe, my child. Okay? Athenadora, Sulpicia, go with her."

The vampires flee into the woods and get into one of the tallest trees and watch.

"Alice!" Aro gasps as Marcus's mate and Isla's husband leave the trees.

Alice and Jasper wall closer to Aro and his arm, but Felix and Demitri stop them from fefifmf closer.

"My dear, dear Alice," Aro muses as Marcus smiles at the sight of his mate. "We're so glad you could see your here, after all."

"I have proof that the child won't be a risk to our kind," Alice saysm and Aro gives her a suspicious look. "Let me show you amd sh extends her hand, Aro motions for Demitri and Felix to release her.

"Brother?" Caius looks at Aro in confusion, Marcus's full attention is on the lovely Alice.

Aro steps forward and he takes Alice's hand and goes into her memories and thoughts, and Isla stares at them, reading them as well from the tree she's in with Sulpicia and Athenadora.
