Chapter 17

                       Bella wound up with a broken leg and a bird scar on her wrist, but James is dead, defeated, gone. Today is the prom and Isla is excited. She is in Rosalie's room getting dressed with her. Rosalie does her hair when the two for hem are done getting their dresses on and Isla does Rosalie's hair ans Alice does both of their makeup.
                    "So beautiful," Alice chirps when she finishes with Isla. "Jasper is waiting downstairs. Go on."
                        Isla offers Alice a smile before she walks downstairs. Jasper's eyes light up when he sees Isla walking downstairs, his beautiful human. Emmett sees her and he grins smugly. Isla kisses Jasper when she reaches him and Rosalie comes down with a now ready Alice. Edward has done left to go pick up Bella.
                        Isla is dancing alone when a familiar redhead approaches her. "Victoria, hello."
                     Victoria sneers. "Just because James liked you, it doesn't mean that I do."
                        "Well, good," Isla replies with a smirk. "I don't like you much, either. Have a good time."
                       She grabs Jasper's hand after crossing the room and pulls him to the dance floor. Victoria watches Isla with an interested look; she doesn't see what James saw in her, but Victoria sees great potential in her as a vampire. She smirks before she goes upstairs.
                           Alice dances with Jasper as friends and Isla dances wirh Emmett. Rosalie is watching with a smile until she sees Bella. Alice waves ar her, Bella returns it with a smile. Bella sees Isla and Emmett laughing about something ans jasper trying not to laugh.
                          After the dance with her best friend, Isla heads upstairs for a bathroom. She does her business but as she passes a room, she is hardly yanked inside. Isla hisses in pain as she is slammed against the door, she comes face to face with Victoria. Victoria hisses amd she bites Isla in the neck, earning a pained gasp. Victoria lets her fall and she runs.
                           Jasper groans as he touches his neck, feeling an intense pain. He furrows his eyebrows and he hurried upstairs, Emmett follows and they enter a room. Jasper lets out an animalistic growl when he sees Isla in pain on the ground, gasping and grunting in pain, holding her neck. He rushes to her and he touches her face, looking up at Emmett.
                      Emmett is furious. "It was the redhead. It had to be. It wasn't any of us.... Get her home, I'll tell Alice, Edward, and Rose."
                        Jasper picks Isla up carefully and he jumps out the window and rushes home. Carlisle has already been called and informed. He opens the door and instructs Jasper to take her to the kitchen where Esme is.
                        "It's too late to save her," Carlisle informs jasper wirh a devastated frown. "She's turning, Jasper."
                          Jasper grabs her hand as his eyes fill with venom. "At least she will come back to me."
                        "You'll have to help her with her diet and get her to quit her job," Carlisle instructs his boy.
                         Jasper nods. "Yeah. I know."
                         Jasper stays beside Isla's body while she screams out in pain. The rest of the vanity soon return, Edward drops Bella off rise because this is a family/coven matter. Rosalie would be crying wirh jasper if she were human. So would Emmett. Emmett is watching Isla whither in pain and he grimaces at every scream or moan if pain as Victoria's goodbye present, her venom. Emmett kisses her forehead before he steps out on the balcony.
                            After about an hour, Isla finally dies as the venom reaches her heart. Jasper no longer feels her immense pain, he's relieved she's no longer hurting. It takes another half an hour for Isla's new crimson eyes snap open.
