Jasper fan fic

Isla is returning form a hunt when she hears Alice and Carlisle arguing a bit inside. She and Carmen look at each other and walk over. They know Laurent has left. Irina has been dragging herself around.
Isla looks inside the house, Alice is in front of Carlisle. Rosalie is irritated while sitting beside Emmett. Jasper is alone and int he corner. Isla looks at Carmen, and she shrugs. Isla goes inside and she walks over to Jasper, who wraps an arm around his wife.
"No, we promised Edward," Carlisle says and Isla arches her eyes, she wonders what brought this one.
"But she won't do well without us," Alice says.
Oh, Bella, Isla scoffs mentally. Of course.
"I just got flashes of her," Alice says, "but they're unclear..."
"Forget her," Rosalie says. "Let's drag Edward home. He missed his niece's wedding, for crying out loud."
Esme grimaces at the reminder. "He'lol come back when he's ready. When Bella's moved on."
"Yes," Carlisle replies. "When she's living her life, safe from danger..."
"You mean safe from us," Isla grumbles and jasper rubs her arm soothingly.
"And when will that me?" Rosalie asks Alice pointedly.
Emmett looks up at the clairvoyent vampire. "Can you see him, Alice?"
Alice sighs, neat. She closes her eyes and attempts to get a clear image of Edward. "The only decision he's made... is th be alone."
Isla flinches. "And so alone he misses his only blood family left's wedding. Yeah, I got it."
She flashes out.
"I got it," ememtt states and he rushes out after her. ......
Isla rushes to an edge of a cliff a few miles away from the cabin and she sits, looking over the ocean. This brings her peace. Calms her. Her mind is rushing with thoughts of the wedding and how Edward missed it. Her cousin who HATES all vampires was willing to video chat with Emmett to watch her get married.
"I knew I'd find you up here," Emmett comments as he walks up and sits beside her. "Nature and watching the ocean calms you down. You ok?"
"No," Isla admits as she leans a head against her best friend's shoulder. "I'm not ok."
Emmett wraps a protective arm around her amd he kisses the top of her head. "I got something for you... Carlisle had it made."
Isla grabs the velvet bag and she pulls the string to loosen it up and open it. It's a necklace with the Cullen crest.

"Wow," Isla gasps. "The family crest?"
"You're family now," Emmett says as he takes the necklace and helps out it on Isla. "You've been family since you face Jasper his life. Carlisle has been having it worked on Eleazar and Kate so you'd have it."
Isla smiles. "I have to thank Carlisle."
"Well, come on, then," Emmett encourages.
The two vampire best friends rush back to the cabin and Isla bugs Carlisle, making hi chuckle a little.
"Thank you," Isla says as she holds onto the crest.
