||3RD POV||

She jumps into the air but she was met with air as Kageyama sends the serve towards Tanaka who slammed the ball with sheer power into the other side, gaining a point for Karasuno. She jumps into the air and the ball touches her fingertips as she blocked Aone, giving Karasuno a one-touch[?]. Nishinoya yells as he was ready to save a ball, "Chance ball!" She was already in the air as Kageyama had the ball in hand, she does a C quick as Aone and Futakuchi. The other brunette on the opposing team yelled as he tried to block her, "Don't underestimate us!" The ball went through the gap of his arms and gained a point as it hit the floor.

She noticed how two blockers went up against her for the first time and her gut feeling was telling her something but she didn't know what. She glances ta the scoreboard and she saw that they were at set point causing her to grin a bit. She soon turned blank as she watched how a player spiked past Tanaka's block but Daichi received it with a groan, she yells as she noticed the ball heading towards Kageyama, "Give me a toss!" She jumped next to Kageyama and Futakuchi jumped with her, she raised a brow when she saw Aone didn't jump. Kageyama sends the ball up into the air and Asahi came from behind her and Aone jumped but he slammed the ball through his hands, earning another point.

'That's only the first set,' She thought bitterly that this team was strong but she knew that she had to rest to break through this 'Iron Wall' that didn't appear yet. She heard her nickname being called and straightened her back as she walked off of the court with a relaxed face, her eyes were back to normal and she pats Hinata's shoulder as she passed him. They switched sides and she felt pain hit her side, her hands clutch it slightly as she felt the same reoccurring pain but soon it faded after a few seconds.

She helped Kiyoko carry the water bottles even though her body told her to rest for a few minutes, she smiled crookedly through her pain that coursed through her limbs. Ukai showed the team the next rotation as she placed the water bottles down, she could hear him explain, "So, we're going to start the second set with our second rotation. The first rotation directly matched up with no-eyebrows number seven, so we'll shift that over two places to start." Takeda understood as he placed his finger under his chin as he stated, "I see. That means Hinata-kun and Aya-san won't get marked by number seven like they were in the first set."

She nods in agreement and Ukai lowered the board as he stated, "But we can't completely avoid that. All we're doing is shifting players around. While Hinata and Aya won't get marked, but other players will get marked instead." She looked at Asahi as he spoke, "We can't let Hinata and Aya shoulder all of our burdens. When Hinata and Aya are at their best, we're at our best. I'll do my part as the ace." She felt relief swell inside of her chest and she gives him the best smile she could ever muster, while the others had sparkling auras. Her smiles slowly got strained as she heard the chant of Daketo, it reminded her of Royal Brand High.

"Being back on the bench sucks," She stated as the whistle blew for the second set and the others around her chuckle in amusement at her comment. She watched how Tanak served the ball and everything was going smoothly until one of Daketo's players spiked the ball into their side, earning a point. Her eyes were on the ball and she caught herself when she stepped forward when Kageyama tossed the ball into the air. Embarrassed, she coughed in her hand as she straightened her posture with tinted cheeks.

She frowned a bit when they blocked Asahi's spike, her face turned blank with how the points were going back and forth between the two teams. She clapped her hands when Hinata did the quick attack when he was on the vanguard again. She scowled when the coach of Daketo called his second timeout after three rounds of Hinata's attack. Ukai started to talk to them but her ears were blocked as she stared at the coach of Daketo, she snapped out of her stare when Ukai stated, "Aya, be ready for anything when I put you in." She nods as she showed that she 'listened' to what he was explaining to them.
