||3RD POV||

Her eyes flickered viciously as her fingers twitched in anticipation, her short hair was tied into a small ponytail while her limbs were covered with the equipment which Royal Brand High provided her over the last few months. It was the second set for her and her teammates while it was still the first set for Karasuno and Inarizaki High. Her mind was all over the place as the incident replayed in her memories. Christopher had accidentally run into Roberto when he was about to spike the ball which Victor sent him and the collusion injured them both, in the end, Hitoshi and herself had to be switched in. "Calm down, captain," The Japanese male stated as his eyes land on the male on the opposite side of the net, he tore his grey colored orbs away from his opponent who was staring at the female and added with his lips in a thin line, "Those two idiots will be fine. They probably got too excited for their first game since forever."

She hums with furrowed brows as she sighed through her nose in frustration, "I know, Hitoshi. I'm just worried about them..." Harshly, he slapped her shoulder as he turned his head away from her, and in response, she flinched while groaning at the sudden movement. In disbelief, she looked at him in the corner of her eyes and noticed that he was giving a soft yet gentle smile as he softly reassured, "That's what I like about you, Captain. Always putting your loved ones before you in situations like these. You're making me fall for you." Her eyes widen at his words and watched how he walked back to his position with a blank expression. Her face turned red in seconds as his words echoed through her mind and she angrily scolded as she calmed her sudden rise in temperature down, "Hitoshi, you asshole! How dare you soothe me with your words!"

Immediately, ears perked up at her raised voice and all the males in a hundred-meter radius glared at the Japanese male who raised a brow at the sudden attention he was receiving. Meanwhile, Atsumu noticed that the female was on the court unlike the first set, his arms were behind his head as he commented with a raised brow, "Huh? Is she finally going to play?" Osamu rolled his eyes at his twin's words and retorted with a blank tone as he got ready when the referee blew the whistle, "Obviously. She is, after all, the one who got you into volleyball." Pissed off at the sudden mention of that, the golden-haired male roared as he glared at him, "Shut yer trap!" On the other side of the net, Hinata was staring at her figure as she stood at the serving line with the ball in her hand. "Ne, Kageyama," The orange-haired male called out to the taller figure next to him, the said male glanced at him with a raised brow and hummed, confirming that he's listening. Hinata took a deep breath and questioned as he clenched his hands into fists while turning towards his taller figure, "Do think it's our fault that Aya-senpai changed and left...?"

Kageyama couldn't answer him, so, he dodged the question while his bangs covered his eyes as he turned away from him, "...Focus on the match, Dumbass." At that moment, Hinata knew what the answer was and grits his teeth as he looked down at the floor. Meanwhile, the brunette bounced the ball against the floor as the referee blew the whistle while motioning her to proceed. She nods and stepped back with a blank look on her face, she felt thousands of eyes staring at her figure and she couldn't help but feel small under all the attention. 'Where did my confidence go?' She thought as she pulled a confident face which caused her fans to roar with different expressions; Many were beet-red, others were fangirling. Time slowed down as she threw the ball into the air and watched how the lights outlined the spinning ball. Her heartbeat and slow breathing patterns filled her ears as her feet took her to the line while her arms stretched out behind her, giving the impression that black-feathered wings were on her attached to her shoulder blades.

Anticipation was everywhere as she leaped into the air and her palm made contact with the spinning ball. Immediately, she placed force onto it and watched how it went over the net seconds later. A deafening boom was heard as it landed between the setter and libero on the opposite side of the court, the ball had swirling winds around it as it bounced upwards and almost reached the ceiling causing everyone to be taken back. It was eerie quiet and she rose her dominant hand into the air and the sound of her clenching it echoed around the building as the referee blew the whistle while motioning that they won the game. The sound of the crowd roaring while Royal Brand High's orchestra erupted everywhere and Ukai felt his heart drop when he realized that they won, again. And if they win this game, they would be playing against them.
