||3RD POV||
As the referee blew the whistle and motioned that they had to switch sides again, Taeyang tugged the silent female who was still in a daze. Hitoshi was following close behind the duo, his eyes were on the brunette, who in his eyes, still had that halo that unnerved him to the core. His stomach was turning in unbelievable manners as he stared at her head, the white halo was turning into a black shadowy one. The Korean male was tending to her, like handing her water bottle to her or drying her sweat off with her towel. He was getting worried, her case worse than what he felt when it happened to him and the others. His own chains that held him down was gone while Hitoshi only had a few left, but her, his entire world crumbled to millions of pieces when he saw how defeated and tired she looked, he could picture how heavy those metal were one her figure.
The trio was at the back of the team who were readying themselves, the two males watched how the brunette slowly sipped the liquid as she got out of her daze. Soon, she was back to normal but any person could see that something was off with her at first glance. The shine in her eyes returned gradually but the smile on her face was hollow, she was trying to convince her and her teammates that she was fine but they all knew that she wasn't. Out of nowhere, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her smaller figure and she looked up at the male who was silently sobbing. She hugged him back as he felt horrible for her, Taeyang had a hurtful expression on his face and he hid it from the rest as he rubbed his head with the towel.
She pats his back softly and her reassuring voice only made it harder for him to stop quietly sobbing, "Ne, there's no need to cry. I'm fine, someone like me is used to these bounds, Hitoshi, just calm down and continue playing." He looked at her with tears streaming down his face and her slender fingers wipe them away with a cheeky smile, he could see that she was back to normal. Suddenly, she playfully squishes his cheeks and his tears were stopped, she cooed before looking at her other friend, "Now stop worrying about this little angel who can take herself and go full out." He glanced at her and his heart skipped a beat as she smiled at him, "Taeyang, thank you for worrying me."
Anyhow, the trio was back to normal and Taeyang comments as he glanced at Shiratorizawa's stands who were cheering at the top of their lungs, "Man, this cheer isn't as good as that school who you previously played against, Aya." She hums a bit before retorting as she wiped the sweat off of her lower back, "Those chants don't matter to me, but they can get a bit annoying from time to time." Hitoshi chimed in with a cheeky smile as he lifts his shirt as he wiped the sweat off, her eyes unconsciously land on the package on his stomach, "True, but like Taeyang said, a few of the chants are actually catchy and others just get to your nerves." Out of nowhere, girlish screams were heard as Taeyang does the same as Hitoshi, she scoffs loudly and motioned one of them to unzip the shirt.
They glanced at each other and Hitoshi shrugged, he slowly unzipped it and he whistled when he saw the tattoo on her shoulders. They were completely oblivious to the onlookers and fangirls and fanboys cheering in the background. He took her towel while she held the front of her shirt, not wanting to flash anyone on live television, slowly, he wiped the sweat off of her upper back and Taeyang was minding his own business. Meanwhile, Tendou raises a brow as he looked at the trio who had their backs turned to them, he felt intrigued hen he saw the peeking tattoo on her upper back. He watched how her teammate zipped up her shirt and she gave him a thumbs up with a smile as she took the towel from him.
At her side, she heard a slap resonate across the court and glanced with wide eyes, her expression was curious yet confused on why Shirabu slapped himself. She shrugged a bit and turned back to the two males who were acting like puppies around her, she never did notice how a few people were staring at her. She snapped her fingers as she remembered that her hair was still loose and trotted towards Kiyoko who already had the item in hand. She thanked her and tied up her locks ina secure manner, she spoke as she did that, "Maybe I should cut my hair short so that it doesn't bother me anymore."
