CHAPTER 44: REBUILD

||3RD POV||

She waves at the boys that soon was sitting behind them, the two on either side of her glanced over their shoulders at them. They studied them for a second and Kazuhiro bluntly stated as he looked back at the matches in front of them, "They don't seem special like what you've told me, Little Raven." She chokes on her fruit at that but coughs when Renjiro agreed while folding his arms over his chest, "For the first time, I'm agreeing with Kazu." They glanced at each other but before they could say anything else, they heard a group of three ask, "Who got the first set?" Renjiro and Daichi answered in sync, surprising everyone and themselves, "Apparently Seijoh got the first set."

Kaname Moniwa, a third-year from Date Tech, looked at them with a surprised look as he exclaimed, "Ah, Karasuno!" Daichi greeted them while her brother rolled his eyes at them, sneakily, he snatched her apple from her container and Kazu snickers as he watched how she didn't notice since she was so focused on the match in front of her. Suddenly, she heard her phone ring and she raised a brow as she searched for it. Once she found it, she looked at the caller ID and was surprised for a second before answering it, "Hello?" 

The person on the other side of the phone greeted her and started talking about random things, her face was changing from time to time until she exclaimed with a pale look, "Wait! You're here inside of Sendai City Gymnasium, like right now?!" The boys glanced at her and noticed how she went quiet as she listened to the voice on the phone. They flinched when she sprung up and ran with the phone against her ear, Kazu and Renjiro sighed as they neatened up her seat. "I still think that we should've told her," His friend stated as he placed the container into the bag while Renjiro retorted as he leaned back into the seat, "I wanted to be a surprise. I mean, what would you do if you find out that an old teammate came to visit you?"

Let's just say, the boys behind them were silent when they heard that. Meanwhile, she found her old teammate and as usual, girls surrounded him as he tried to excuse himself from them but failed. She puts on her bitch face and stated in a cold tone when she was close enough, "Leave him alone, attention-seekers." Immediately, they scatter when they saw her and he hugged her as he thanked her, "타락한 천사! [Fallen Angel!] I'm so glad that I get to see you again!" She pats his shoulder as she tried to stable herself against his weight and height as she stood on her tippy toes. 

She laughs as she spoke with a smile, "Its good to see you again, Taeyang. Man, you've grown a lot!" He chuckles as he lets go of her and stated as he placed his arm around her shoulder while readjusting his bag on his right shoulder, "Well, I'm drinking a lot of milk and eating healthy as you told me to do. I grew an extra 13 cm in the last year!" She whistles lowly and stated as they walk to the stands, "Impressive! I have to ask you though. Why are you here in Japan?" He waved a finger in the air as he replied with a teasing tone, "Not telling. Its a secret!" 

Quickly, she looked over him and took in his attire. He still has that fluffy yet curly blackish hair that she was always envious of, the color of his eyes was a grey-purple color. He has to be around 6'4 or so since he was shorter when she saw him before moving to Japan. His outfit consisted of a white shirt that had a brand on with a light blue longsleeved shirt over it, black jeans made his legs look longer and slender and he had white sneakers. She noticed the black surgical mask and shrugged when she realized what it was needed for.
