CHAPTER 45: WIPEOUT

||3RD POV||

He followed them until he can't anymore, his eyes were on her figure as she held the ball under her arm. She gave him a peace sign as she looked at him over her shoulder, he returned the gesture before heading to the stands where Renjiro and Kazuhiro were. She dumps her bag against the wall before walking where the rest of the team was, she had the Royal Brand High volleyball in her hand and practiced her tosses since she warmed up her spikes and receives with the help of Taeyang.

She noticed how Kageyama and Oikawa glared at each other when they touched the same ball, she shakes her head when they started fighting over it. She was a meter away from Yachi and Kiyoko since she was walking around while tossing the ball up in the air. She paused a bit when she noticed Yachi trotted away to get a ball but she saw one of the players purposely throw a ball towards her. She heard a yell and cursed as she abandoned her ball to save Yachi from the powerful spike that deflected off someone's arms. 

She stood in front of her and she felt the ball hit her forearms, she watches how it went up into the air and landed into the basket on Aobajohsai's side. She scowled along as Kiyoko- who had a blank face- appeared next to her, her glare was dark and threatening. She huffs as she watched how Tanaka placed his hand on the player's shoulder with a dark face as he spoke while holding a ball towards him, "Here." She huffs and went to get her ball but she noticed it was missing, she heard her name being called and Iwaizumi held the ball in his hand to which she smiles too. She trots over to him and once she was close enough, she thanked him as she took it from him, "Ah, thank you, Iwaizumi-san."

She noticed Kyotani stare at her and waves at him with a grin but he scowled a bit, she bows her head at Iwaizumi before running off to her team. She continued practicing her tosses and paused when Taeyang yelled from the stands, "You better win Aya!" She sends him an 'okay' sign to which he laughs to and she went back to practice, not noticing how Oikawa's eyes flickered between her and the foreigner male in the stands. Soon, the captains were called and she tossed her ball into her bag while rolling her shoulder since she needs to relax it.

Once Daichi returned, they lined up and they yelled as they bowed in sync, "Let's play!" Karasuno surrounded Ukai as he spoke and she listened carefully to him. Meanwhile, Taeyang noticed a blonde woman with a bob cut have a book in her hand with all the matches, he got up and asked with a charming smile as he stood next to her, "Excuse me? Is there a chance that I could have a peek of that?" She looked at him with wide eyes as he tried to recall where she has seen him and nods, he thanks her and looked at the book while murmuring, "Oh? If Angel wins the next to games, she's going to nationals. It'll be a shame if she didn't..." 

Shimada and Takinoue recognized the male and they yelled in sync as they pointed at the Korean player, "Park Taeyang?! The 5th ranked volleyball player in the world?!" He lets out a short hum while sending them a peace sign as he stated, "Indeed! I'm just visiting my beloved captain who is currently in this team called Karasuno." Wide-eyed, they stared at him before looking at the single female who was on the court. He added as his expression turned dark and serious, he leans against the railing with a sinister smirk on his lips, "I have a feeling that she won't be holding back in this match."

She was at the vanguard between Kayama and Hinata while Tsukishima, Daichi, and Asashi were on the rearguard, Nishinoya was next to the court as they got ready. She bends her knees a bit as she readied her position as Oikawa bounces the ball against the floor before serving. The referee motions him he can serve and she watches how he runs while tossing the ball up into the air, he jumps as he slams the ball over the net. Quickly, Daichi receives it as he dives through the air. The ball was back in the air and she notices the pissed-off expressions between the two captains, she almost cursed as they slam the ball into their side and was taken back when Kageyama saves it.
