CHAPTER 59: HOME

||3RD POV||

She yawned as her hair was in every direction, her eyes were slightly red and her head wobbled a bit as she walked to school. It was cold and she decided to wear stocking with the uniform, a black and red scarf was wrapped around her neck as her hair was stuck in it. Her glasses fogged up a bit and she hid her hands inside of her pockets as she walked to school, as she rounded a corner, she bumped into a chest and she apologized as she glances at them, "Sorry about that." She walked away but she heard a voice call out, "Excuse me? Where can we find the nearest train station?"

She held back an eye roll and turns to the voice, her eyes noticed there were two identical twins but one had dyed golden hair and the over had silver. She tugs the scarf lower as she spoke while pointing to the direction, "About another five blocks, turn to the right, keep going straight, turn left and continue walking straight again and you would see the train station." The silver-haired male nods in thanks while the golden-haired one stared at her with narrowed eyes, clearly trying to figure out from where he saw her from.

She bows her head at them and was about to walk away again, but the golden-haired male decided to speak up, "You're Kurosawa Aya, aren't you? The famous former captain and ace of 'The Sins?'" Slightly impatient, she sticks her hands in her pockets and nods as she confirmed him, she tilts her head at them as she narrowed her eyes through her glasses, "Yeah. What is it to you two?" They shrug at her question and she noticed the white surgical masks, she stared at them for a second before walking away in hurried steps, surprising them.

She heard their hurried footsteps from behind and screamed as her pace turned into a sprint, "Why the fuck are you two following me?! I told you where to go!" She slides around the corner with how fast she was running, she cursed under breath and threw her glasses to the side, nearly hitting the males in the process. She grits her teeth and noticed the high fence a couple of meters away, she had a serious face as she quickened her speed, causing the twins to get taken back with how fast she was. She had a bounce in her steps and with one leap, she was in the air, until she felt herself get tugged down, she yelped as she felt arms around her and immediately started to struggle.

The golden-haired male tried to calm her down as he held her while his twin was catching his breath, "Look, you little devil! We need your help! You know the way to the train station, so just show us!" She got out of his grip and huffed as she yelled, "If I do, you better let go of me!" Silence were around them, he lets go of her and she cleans the imaginary dust off of her, she glares at the male who gives her a peace sign. She rolled her eyes and glanced at the silver haired male who stared at her with his fox-like eyes, which made her feel like a prey. She motioned them to follow her and they did.

They followed on either side of her and glanced down at her figure, she was a bit shorter than what they imagined her to be but was more mature looking. She pulled her hair out of the scarf and huffed a bit as the cold bit her nose, she pulled it higher up and stuffed her hands into her jacket's pockets. They rounded corners and it was completely quiet between the three of them, the area around them was a street that was filled with bakeries and shops. She couldn't take this anymore and started talking, "You guys aren't from here, are you?" They glanced at each other and didn't answer her, she knew the answer anyway. Suddenly, her ringtone went off and she answered her phone, "This Kurosawa Aya speaking. Can I ask you is currently speaking?"

Immediately, her face was relaxed as she listened to the person on the other side of the phone, she would occasionally hum or answer. The twins watched her with curiosity and heard a voice call out to her by a window, "Aya-chan!" She looks up and saw a woman wave at her and she disappeared but reappeared when she opened the door of a bakery, in her hands, there was a giant basket of goodies. She pulls the phone away and the twins heard how the male voice continued to ramble about something on the other side of the line. The brunette took the giant basket from the older woman whom she thanked with a wide smile, "Thank you, Mrs. Anne." The woman waves her off and reassures before closing the door, "Oh, please dear! I love it when you're around the neighborhood, I can give you a lot of sweets!"

She stares at the door with a blank look as she sweatdrops, she placed the phone next to her ear again and states with an annoyed look, "Toshi, dear. Please, enough of rambling. We can talk about this at work, when you have free time, we'll talk but just go finish your paperwork." Immediately, the line was dead and she smiled in triumph. Amazed with how the female handled that, the twins stared at her before looking at the goodies in her hand as she placed her phone away. She notices and holds it with two hands as she spoke, "You guys can have some, I'm not hungry at the moment."

The two didn't hesitate to take some of the goodies that consisted of; cookies, mochi, bean puffs; donuts, etc. She chuckled a bit as they ate the snacks, her voice was soothing as she spoke, "You never gave your names. I don't have to introduce myself since you know who I am." The silver-haired one answered as he finished his snack, "I'm Miya Osamu, the golden-haired idiot next to me is my twin brother; Atsumu Miya." That seemed to tick off the golden-haired male who glared at his brother, she hums a bit and they started conversing.

After a few minutes, they reached the train station. She pointed out where they need to go and they thanked her before walking to the train that was about to leave for Hyogo Prefecture. She stopped them and hands the basket of goodies, she smiled and trotted away, leaving them gobsmacked but happy that she was this kind. The truth is, she doesn't want to carry that heavy thing anymore when she gets back to school, so she abandoned the sweets to get to school early.

That was how the Blackbird met the two lost foxes.
