||3RD POV||

She stared at Daichi's body as tears slipped through her eyes were glazed over as she clutches her soar shoulder. The other players on the court call out to the unresponsive male while more tears fell from the silent female who bit back a sob. A throbbing pain spread through her arm and she tried to twitch her fingers but they were unresponsive, which made her breath hitch as she looks panicked at her unresponsive arm. Out of nowhere, she heard hurried footsteps heading their way and she looked at the direction, her teary eyes widen when she saw Renjiro and Kazuhiro run towards them.

Kazuhiro went to talk to Ukai as Renjiro slide towards the unconscious male, he said something under breath before shaking the male slightly. Slowly, Daichi woke up and struggled to get up, her brother ordered with a firm tone, "I need you to sit and not move a lot." He nods as he sat and held his head, Kazuhiro and the others hurriedly head their way. As Renjiro tend the captain, Kazuhiro was tending the brunette who was eerie quiet as she stared at her hand that she was trying to get to respond.

He held her injured arm with a strained look on his face and stated as he felt horrible with what he was about to do, "My little Raven, I need you to bite onto something as I push your shoulder back into its socket, okay?" She nods and lifts her shirt, she placed the material into her mouth and looked at him with narrowed eyes. He sucked in a deep breath and pushed it in, she bit back a scream as a loud pop was heard and she felt her arm burn. Her canine-like teeth dug into the material and he was rubbing her shoulder as he tried to soothe the pain in a quick manner.

As Renjiro tends Daichi who was telling him that he was fine, he looked at Takeda with a stern expression, "I'm Kurosawa Renjiro, a college student that is about to graduate Silverwood College in Tokyo. I have three or four doctoral degrees behind my name, I leave him your care since he looks fine with how responsive he is. I need to check on my sister." Without another word, he went towards Aya who was holding her head up as she bit back groan of pain and tears. Kazu stepped back when he saw how silent his friend was and glanced at Daichi who was getting told what to do by the managers.

Out of nowhere, his voice was cold as ice as he bluntly stated, "Aya, you're not playing." She looked at him with disbelief and was about to protest as she released her shirt from her teeth but his eyes told her to be quiet. He helped her up with her good arm as he continued, "I'm going to properly check your shoulder at the infirmary and see if it's good enough to let you play." Her eyes pleaded with mercy at Kazu to back her up but he avoided her gaze, Renjiro noticed her gaze and stated with a threatening tone, "Don't look at him to help you in this situation. I'm taking care of my sister who had her shoulder get popped out of its socket."

He dragged her to the infirmary and Kazu apologized as he quickly bowed at the team, he ran after the two who was already almost gone. Ukai stared at the taller male that stood out from the trio, he spoke as his eyes didn't leave his form, "That was him huh... Man, I never thought I would see him in person." Takeda looks at him with a raised brow and he continued, "Kurosawa Renjiro, the former second-ranked volleyball player in the world. He quit his career and decided to study chemistry, biology, mathematics, etc to become the youngest doctor in history."

Meanwhile, she was in the infirmary with only her sports bra on with her shorts, her brother was gently inspecting her shoulder with calculating eyes. Kazuhiro glanced at her injured hands and went to tend to them, she was silent with their treatment. The nurse who was on duty was very baffled when the two men told her that they could take of her when they told her what they had behind their name. Neither of them looked who entered the infirmary, they knew who it was and ignored them as the nurse went to do her job.

She shivered when her brother placed ice on the swelling and bruising that formed on her shoulder blade, he rubbed her muscles down her arm as he tried to return the feeling in her dominant arm. Her voice was soft as she spoke while glancing at the ravenette who was tending her hands, "Thank you two. I appreciated it a lot." They both hum and Renjiro spoke as his fingers started to feel if anything else in her arm was fractured or out of position, "I'm just not used to how you're playing with the opposite sex again. I mean, you're used to it since the rest of 'The Saint' were males but they were careful and protective."

 She hums as she recalls how they were always gentle and caring when it came to her, she closes her eyes as she spoke, "True, but they were still boys, always causing trouble everywhere." He pointed out as he retorted with a grin, "Except the court." They chuckled at how the atmosphere changed a bit and Daichi could see that they were getting on good terms again. Without knowing, his eyes drifted off to her back and he felt something bloom inside of his chest when he saw the tattoos on her back. On the left side, a white angelic wing was carved but at the end of the feathers, it started to fade into an inky black. On her other shoulder, it was a feathery wing but as it went down, it turned into a devil-like wing that was tattered.

He saw a small date between them and looked away when Renjiro glanced at him, he pats her shoulder as he spoke in a professional tone which made her raise a brow, "Well, that's sorted. Your shoulder seems to be fine but just don't use it for another hour or two since the bruising needs to go down." Kazu and herself stared at him with blank faces and teased in sync with smirks, "Oya? Are you perhaps trying to sound professional even though you're not--" He cuts them off with a snarl and the chuckle tot themselves, "Just let me have my moment."

She waved at them when they went back to the stands, leaving her in the infirmary. The nurse told Daichi he needs to rest for a while and left to get some supplies, leaving the two alone in the infirmary. They glanced at each other and it got awkward but she spoke, causing him to stare at her, "Daichi-san, I'm sorry for what happened. I should've watched--" He interrupted her while standing up, "No, I should be the one to apologize." She looks at him with disbelief and before she could say anything, he sat next to her on the bed, "I should be the one to apologize since I didn't watch where I was going and even got your shoulder out of its socket."

She lays down on the bed on her good shoulder and stated as she closed her eyes, "Nah, I guess we both feel sorry for what happened but it doesn't matter. The past is in the past." He stared at her figure even though she was only in a sports bra and her volleyball shorts, he laid in front of her with a sigh and she looked at him with a raised brow. In a tired voice, he said as he closed his eyes, "I'm so tired." She hums in agreement and placed her sore shoulder- that seemed to get well with the time passing by- over his shoulder and pulled him closer to her. He slowly opened his eyes and she spoke with a smile as she looked at him with half-lidded eyes, "I guess that makes both of us."

Soon, they both fell asleep with each other's presence and he didn't notice as he slept that he wrapped his arms around her waist as he placed his head on top of her breasts. She was sleeping peacefully as she had arms around her, occasionally, he would touch the tattoo on her bare back as he held her closer even if he was still in pain from the blow. The patter of the rain was heard throughout the infirmary and when the nurse returned, she almost had a heart attack when she noticed them on the bed. She wiggled her brows as she draped a thin blanket over them, she had a flowery aura around her as she mutters while doing paperwork, "Ah, must be nice to be in love."
