||3RD POV||
She sighs as she got off the phone with her brother as she stood outside the gymnasium, her brows were furrowed as she had a thoughtful expression on her face and her wine-colored locks caressed her shoulders slightly. 'I don't understand why they need me to attend,' She thought with distaste as she glared at the floor while clenching her hand into a tight fist, she sucks in a deep breath and exhales as she visibly relaxes. The wind passed her which caused her skirt and hair to flutter ever so slightly as she looks up at the sky, she listened to how the sound of the trees rustling filled the quiet atmosphere which was known to be nosy because of practice.
Steadily, she placed her phone into her blazer pockets as she turned around while adjusting the bag over her shoulder. She opened the door while greeting them, "I have arrived!" She moved her head to the side when a ball was about to hit her and she walked away as if she wasn't in danger a second ago. Hinata apologized to her before he went to fetch the ball and she waved him off as she placed her bag down against the wall. Today, she would be sitting out and planning out attacks and defenses as they trained, she sat cross-legged next to her bag as she had a book in hand with a pencil.
She blocked out the sound as she started going into her zone that she didn't know she had, she paused after a few minutes as she held the pencil to her bottom lip and her brows furrowed very softly as she stared at the writing on the paper. After a second of brainstorming, she started to write the next five to six pages full of possible attacks and defense techniques and she didn't notice how the sun started to set as she wrote half of the book full. She closed the book with a proud smile on her face, catching Hinata and Kageyama's attention, they watch how she got up from her spot and trotted towards Ukai with a bright aura around her. They watch how she held a book out as she spoke and he took it with a grin, she walked away as he read through it and with each page that was being flipped, his eyes grew.
She was next to Nishinoya as he held a magazine up and she raised a brow but she had a scowl on her face when she saw the familiar face. She recoiled back as she glared at something as Tanaka read, "Shiratorizawa's Ushiwaka is among the three most noticed high schoolers in the whole country." She bit back a scoff as she rolls her eyes and Hinata acknowledged as he looked ta the page, "Shiratorizawa! That's where Kageyama couldn't get in." Kageyama snapped at him with a glare, "Shut up." He heard how Yamaguchi and Tsukishima laughed went to pick a bone with them while Hinata asked as he looked at Tanaka, "Who's Ushiwaka?"
Tanaka raised a brow as he stared at Hinata with surprise, "You don't know?" Sugawara smiled as he teased, "That's because you're only a fan of the Little Giant." She leaned back as she stared at the ceiling with narrowed eyes as she listened to Tanaka, "Let me tell you about Ushiwaka. He's unmistakably the number-one ace of our prefecture: Ushijima Wakatoshi." Daichi looked at the page as he added on, "Hmm. He definitely has 'ace' written over him." Everyone looked at Asahi with deadpanned expressions and he flinched back as he held his hands in the air while asking, "Hey, why are you looking at me?"
He sulked and Nishinoya reassuringly pats his shoulder while the rest continued to converse, out of curiosity, Sugawara asked as he looked at the ravenette, "Kageyama, you were trying to get into a place with guys like this?" Tanaka teased him as he spoke, "And you were going to yell at the super high school ace, 'Move faster, clumsy oaf!' and stuff, right?" She snickered a bit as Kageyama retorted, "I wouldn't say that." Her voice was velvety as she spoke with a grin, "Its weird to know that a high school ace like him tried to pursue me to join that school, especially at the airport."
They look at her shocked and were about to question her but Hinata spoke, "If we don't defeat him, we cant play against Nekoma." Out of nowhere, Ukai spoke from behind them, "Hey, hey. Shiratorizawa isn't the only formidable opponent." They all got up and watched how he hands her a book back with a smirk as he added on, "Those have a lot of potentials, I thought a professional trainer set them up." She smiles as she clutches the book closer to her body and Sugawara asked him with a raised brow, "Would the others be last year's best four?" Everyone gathered around as he answered, "Yes, but there are other formidable opponents this year." She watched how he took a paper from his pockets and unfolded as he read from it, "There's Wakutani Minami, which has superior defense and coordination."
