Chapter 10: A Nightmare of Reality

“Okay. Just relax Blue. Their next victim will receive an ace of hearts card.”

PLACCK!

I heard my phone hit on the floor and left stunned with what I heard from Valeriano.

“Ace of hearts?” I whispered to myself as I look at the card that I recently received. I'm so sure that Genesis is in the head of this because of the capital G on the back of the card.

“Blue, are you okay? Blue! Wait. I will go out!” Valeriano shouted from the other line.

Bumalik ako sa aking malay nang marinig ko sa kabilang linya ang boses ng aking kaibigan. I saw my phone at the floor in front of me still in contact with Valeriano. I bended myself a bit to reach for it.

“Blue! Sa likod mo!” I heard Valeriano shouted outside of his room, meters far from me. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang pinagsisigaw nito.

“Ano bang nasa likod ko?” Tumayo ako mula sa pagkakayuko at tumingin sa likuran ko nang---

“AARGH! HMMM! HMMM!”

Someone suddenly grabbed my back and covered my nose and mouth with a hankie that contains a very strong smell. Unti-unti akong nahihilo at nalulunod sa lakas at tindi ng amoy na bumabalot sa panyo. My sight begun to become blurry and the figures I see multiplied into two. I can't even visualize the face of the man who carries me right now.

“Blue! Huwag kang mag-alala. Tatawag ako ng tu--- AARGH! F*CK! Sino ka ba?” sigaw ni Khen. Someone who is in a black figure punched him.

“Valeria…” my voice trailed off. Unti-unti na rin akong nawalan ng boses kasabay nang panghihina ng aking katawan.

My body became so forceless that I can't even raise my hands to give this man a punch. Slowly, everything turned black and all I knew is that we entered the elevator.

“Anong gagawin natin sa lalaking 'to?”

“Hindi ko alam! Hintayin na lang natin si Boss!”

I woke up in a very unfamiliar place. It's dark, dusty, and all I can smell is the smoke which came from the ignited cigarettes of those goons. A small lampshade only served as a light in the whole room. Minimal strokes of light rays which is infiltrated by the small window from above hit at my face. Para akong nakakulong sa isang abandonadong gusali.

Sinubukan kong alisin ang bagay na nakatakip sa bibig ko pero hindi ko magawa, dahil nakatali ang dalawa kong kamay sa likod ng isang pillar ng room na 'to. Sinubukan kong galawin ang aking bibig nagbabasakali na matanggal ang bagay na nakatakip nito pero sadyang malakas ang kapit. If I'm not mistaken, this is a kind of duct tape. Pati rin ang aking buong katawan at ang mga paa ko ay nakatali na 'rin.

“Teka, nasaan ba talaga ako?” bulong ko sa aking isipan.

All I can remember is that I received an ace of hearts card from someone that has an initials of [R. N. T. 4th] and a letter G on a back of it, which I thought to be the Genesis then someone covered my mouth with a hankie--- wait! Don't tell me. I was kidnapped by the Genesis! No! A BIG NO!
