Chapter 12: Maiko Ferrer II (The Information)

BLUE

I saw how Valeriano’s eyes enlarged when we heard the voice of Crimson’s principal together with his staff approaching us.

“Ssshhh.” Valeriano covered my mouth with his hand as we minimized ourselves behind this red pillar. We need to hide ourselves from the eyes of the school principal or else, we can’t get what we need to get- information about Maiko Ferrer or worse, we will be reported to the administration of Northville at baka ano pang punishments ang maihatol sa amin. We need to maintain our composure until the principal and his staff passed to our position.

As soon as their figures aren’t visible with our sight, we came out from the pillar, which serves as our shield from the eyes of Crimson’s principal.

“Hayys! Muntikan na tayo do’n ha,” Khen mumbled. We still maintain to lower voice baka may makadinig pa sa amin.

Even me, I can heard my heartbeat faster a while ago. Pinagpapawisan pa din ako sa tensyon na aking naramdaman kanina. Who would expect na muntikan pa naming makasalubong ang principal ng Crimson kanina?

“Let’s go. We need to finish this. Baka may makakita pa sa atin dito,” I uttered. We need to finish our business here as soon as possible. I don’t want my plan to be disrupted. I don’t want to put all of our efforts in vain.

We went across to the intersection where the principal and his staff came from. We have to act normal para hindi kami magmukhang suspicious sa mga taong nakakasalamuha namin. We meet some students across the way.  After a few steps, hindi pa rin namin nahanap ang registrar’s office.

“Ano ba ‘tong school na ‘to? Saan ba nila nilagay ang registrar’s office nila dito?” sabat ni Khen sa inis. Halos kalahating oras na kasi ang lumipas at hindi pa namin nahanap ang registrar's office nila.

“We better ask someone para mapadali natin ang ating ginagawa,” I suggested.

“Sure ka?” pag-aalinlangan ni Valeriano. It would also increase the risk kung magtatanong kami sa mga taong nandirito kasi baka magsumbong sila na may mga outsiders na nakapasok.

“Yup! Don't worry I'll handle i---”

“Are you lost?”

Muntikan na kaming mapatalon ni Valeriano nang marinig namin ang boses ng isang babae sa aming likuran. We turned to our back and saw where those voice came from. A girl with an expressive eyes greeted us. Along with it was his thick and curl eyelashes matched with her perfect-shaped eyebrows. Added with her pointed chiseled nose and cupid's bow heart-shape pink lips. Her white and fair skin added her glamour into perfection. In short, maganda siya. Magkasingtangkad lang din kami.

“Are you lost?” she asked us again. Her expressive eyes gazed at our face down to our feet. Parang-ine-examine niya ang buo naming katawan.

“Y-yes. Can we ask where is the registrar's office located?” nauutal na tanong ni Valeriano. Namesmerize siguro 'to sa ganda ng kaharap namin ngayon. He also spoke in straight english. Keep it up, Valeriano!

“Ah yes! Actually, papunta din ako doon. Pwede kayong sumabay if you want,” the girl replied. She then flipped some of her hair strands that rested on her shoulder. Oh! She’s so beautiful.

“It's okay for me. How about you Blue?” tanong sa akin ni Valeriano.

“H-ha? Ako? Sure. Why not?” nauutal kong sagot.

We were left with no choice. I know that joining this girl towards the registrar's office will increase the vulnerability of our plan to fail but we need to finish our business here as soon as possible.
