INTERLUDE: BlueGray Series

IVAN

“Excuse me. Please excuse,” sabi ko habang dinadaan ang alon ng mga estudyanteng kalalabas lang ng kani-kanilang classroom.

I’m now on my way to fetch my future boyfriend. Assuming as you think, but you can’t stop me. I mean- nothing can stop me from liking him. My day isn’t 24 hours if I can’t take a glimpse on his grumpy yet very cute face. Don’t bash my prince or I will call Death to fetch you right at your door.

As what I have said, I’m now leading my own way towards Room 407 where my future boyfriend belong. I keep on running the hallway from the elevator just to hold him at place. The examination days just ended and I want to relax with him.

I want to relax myself and so with him. Today’s Friday and tomorrow’s Saturday. His my future boyfriend for now and a boyfriend for the future. He will be the prince sitting on his shining throne and I will be his knight in shining armor protecting his precious life.

If you’re confused why I like him instead of hot and sexy girls? I don’t need to answer you a paragraph nor a story. I can just give you three words.

I like him.

That’s it. That isn’t a pedantic answer. That is a heartfelt response. I don’t need to elaborate it or add some flowering words just to describe why I felt this good feelings for him.

I like him because I like him. Period.

As soon as I arrived a door which has “Room 407” posted on it, I stopped from running and relaxed my breathing. I just focused on relaxing myself and wait for my future boyfriend to come out. I still have my black rectangular folder which contains some school stuffs.

As usual, most of the eyes here are staring at me. Hindi pa rin kumukupas ang aking karisma. Patuloy pa ring dumidikit ang aking kapogi-an sa lahat ng makakakita sa akin.

I felt sorry for them though. Someone owned my heart already and no one can replace him from owning it.

Hindi ko na lang pinansin ang mga dumadaang babae na halatang nagpapacute sa akin. Sinister for them. My future boyfriend is way cuter than them.

Tiningnan ko ang aking relo at nakitang malapit nang mag-a-alas dose y media. I don’t know what took him so long to come out.

Nandito pa ba siya sa loob? O kanina pa siyang nakalabas at hindi ko lang namalayan sa bilis nang pagtakbo ko kanina?

I’m hoping na nandito pa siya or else, my efforts will be in vain.

I was about to pulled the doorknob when someone from the inside pushed it to my direction. Unfortunately, it hit my forehead that made me lost my balance for a moment.

“F*ck!” I cussed when a hard surface hit my forehead.

Parang kumalog ang utak ko sa loob ng tatlong segundo. I even rubbed my temple to lessen the pain that I felt.

“Mr. Gray, are you okay?”

I don’t know but the moment I heard his voice, the pain that I felt earlier instantly faded. There’s something in his voice that soothes my sense.
