The examination week just ended and I hope that I did well for that. I’m not smart but I am studious. I am rich but I value education. I am the son of the owner of this school and I respect it. Hindi ako katulad ng iba diyan, wala na ngang kaya sa buhay, hindi pa nag-aaral ng mabuti. They’re making their lives more miserable and I feel pity for them.

I am now in my office together with the sons of my Dad’s business partners. Yes, they are not just ordinary students here in our university. They are the heirs of the most productive businessmen of the world.

Ixon’s family owns the Montessori Engineering Firm which is the most outstanding and most awarded construction company around the world. They already constructed high-class buildings in some prominent cities of the world just like in Paris of France, Melbourne, New York City and NSU is one of their majestic creations here in the Philippines.

Hans’ family owns the IM Electrics Group of Companies which already produced 500+ high-technology products, both electricity and manually-generated. As a matter of fact, all of the appliances and other things that are used in NSU are their products including the air-conditioners, solar panel system, glass white boards, desktops and many more.

Ion’s family owns the largest pharmaceuticals company in Asia and the third in the whole world. The Marrow Pharmaceuticals Group of Companies has discovered 50% of the total vaccines and medicines that the world is currently using. They are also the first pharmaceutical company to discover the vaccine for the deadly virus called 2008 flu virus which claimed millions of lives somewhere in China. All of the biology-related stuffs here in NSU came from their laboratories and most of them are can be found in the Faculty of Medicine in the College Department.

And for ours, Dad owns the best and multi-awarded perfume company not just in Asia but all over the world. The Monteclaro Le Parfum was established on 1867 and already have 287 branches all over the world. Our company already produced the best perfumes and already endorsed by the most popular Hollywood stars. Even me, I have my own mixture of my own scent. I personally collected the ingredients and deliver it to the laboratory to do the process.

Back to the present, nakaupo ako sa aking karaniwang spot habang si Ion naman ay nakahiga sa couch at may kung anu-anong tinitipa sa kanyang telepono. Masyadong pa-feel at home ‘tong lalaking ‘to. Si Hans naman ay nakadapa sa sahig habang nakaharap sa monitor ng kanyang laptop. Parang may chinecheck na mga emails. Habang si Ixon naman ay nakatingin pa rin sa piano. Nakasaksak pa rin sa ulo niya ang kanyang headphones mula pa no’ng dumating siya dito. Hindi ko pa ‘to narinig na nagsalita mula no’ng pumasok siya sa opisinang ito.

“Wala bang magsasalita?” I decided to break the deafening silence that covered the four corners of the room. Parang wala talagang may balak na magsalita kung hindi rin ako magsasalita.

“Who called us to be here in the first place?,” Ion uttered. Ibinaba niya ang kanyang telepono at humarap sa akin. Nakita ko ring humarap sa akin ang dalawa.

“I just wanna ask kung sino sa inyo ang sasama ngayon sa pictorials?” I asked, looking at them.

Today is Saturday and as what as planned by the head committee for the upcoming intramurals, the pictorials for the candidates of Mr. and Ms. NSU High 2020 was scheduled today.

“The Student Council will take part for the pictorials,” Ion uttered, fixing himself on the couch. “So as the president, I will be there,” he added.

What you read is right. Herald Ion Marrow is our SC President. Everyone admires his great leadership for two years including me. Kaya walang duda kung bakit siya palaging nananalo tuwing may eleksyon.
