LEONA

Just when I was diving into a dream land, my eyes fluttered open. I'm so damn tired, what if I don't wake up on time?

'I'll have to wake up on time.'

'I'll wake up on time.'

I kept repeating that until I dozed off.

I shot up from the bed when I felt a suddy cold air hit my skin.

I looked around nervously but relaxed when I saw him sleeping peacefully beside me.

I looked around for a clock and my eyes met with his watch but it was in front of him.

I stretched my hands across his face to pick it and he stirred as he began to turn in my direction.

I rolled with my back away from him and landed at the foot of the bed.

"Ouch!" I groaned and held my waist.

I started hearing movements. I peeped and saw him up and rubbing his eyes but I couldn't see his face.

After that, he started looking around. When his eyes moved to my direction, I ducked below.

He rounded the bed and before he got to my side, I rolled and hid under the bed.

He stopped in front of the bed for sometime before walking away.

I released the breath I didn't think I was holding.

I stayed under the bed and didn't know when I drifted off to sleep again.

When I woke, the sun was shining brightly into the room and my body hurt a lot. Probably because of how I slept.

I hesitated before coming out. I don't care if he sees me.

Surprisingly, there was no one in the room and he's bed has been neatly laid.

I yawned and went to his washroom and did my business.

I brushed and showered.

When I came out, I tried to look around the room.

It was bland and did not look like a couple's room so he must be single.

And with how the room was void with any decorations, it's clear that he was a man who lives a boring monotonous lifestyle.

I looked around for something edible but found nothing. I walked to his study and sat on his chair for a while. I took his files and started going through.

I realized that he had quite a lot of paperwork to be done and it was piled up.

I looked through them and tried to rack my brain to do some of them.

Almost all the files on the table were contracts signed by him to design a building.

It looks like he's an architect.

There were a lot of drawings for him to do and the time to present it was almost due.

He has five presentations tomorrow but he hasn't even started a sketch.

He's so lazy.

He slept so peacefully the entire night instead of working on them. Or maybe he's just tired.
