I blinked multiple times as I tried to let Leona's disappearance sink in.

Leona is really gone and it's all my fault.

I shook my head and stepped back a little as Raymond's suspicious eyes bore into mine.

I demanded honesty from Leona and practically forced her to tell me everything about her which she did, something she was not so comfortable with, but she did.

And what did I do?

  I omitted telling her about Katherine and her...well our daughter despite how clean she came with me.

I wished I had clarified everything to her then she wouldn't have left me. But I didn't know everything was going to blow up in my face the way it did.

I didn't know mum was going to take such a step.  She ruined everything for me. What perfect timing, I was going to make Leona mine in front of everyone. I was going to engage her but then...

As for mum and Kathy, I will give them my piece of mind later.

However, I'm glad I cleared that misunderstanding. There's no hell of a way I was going to marry Katherine. No way!

She knows it and I believe mother is also aware but she just doesn't listen. I wonder what is wrong with both of them. I never liked that bitch and I'm not going to start now but mum doesn't understand that language.

I'm glad I  falsified all that she said in front of everyone but I couldn't deny my daughter now, can I? That's me and Katherine's problem.

"Look, Leona was with me but something happened and she fled that was all," I said.

" What is that 'something'?"

" Well, it was a misunderstanding. I was trying to talk to her but she just got into a car and left. I thought she came home that's why I came looking for her." I explained.

" I can't believe you caused all this."

My eyes narrowed on him. He's not serious, is he? Blaming me in this situation?

"I have not the time to bicker with you. If you could excuse me I'll take my leave."

" Where are you going?"

" To look for your sister, you don't expect me to stay and sulk along with you, did you?"

He rolled his eyes. " I'm coming with."

" No, you stay back and take care of Leonard. I'll call you if there's anything."

" What should I do till then? You don't expect me to sit comfortably here while my sister is in danger right?"

I wanted to ignore him and go but then, he's her brother so he'll be loyal if I assigned him to work along with my men.

"Okay, you can help to surveil the airport."

" What about that?"

"Come with me, I'll send someone to come for Leonard's things," I said and walked to my car.

I made a few calls and made sure all the borderlines and airports in the country were surrounded by security guards.

Should it be that bastard, I can't let him take my Leona out of the country. If that happens then it's going to take a few weeks before I could get her. That's disastrous. I can't let her stay another minute with him talk of hours and days.

I wonder how all this happened, I was having everything under control until now. I got a tap on Yolando's number then through that I monitored his movements. I knew it when he sent his men to drop the gun in Leona's car.
