" Huh?"

He didn't say anything instead he received a call and started talking.

I looked out the window and admired the beautiful city but I was too troubled to enjoy it.

It wasn't long before the car pulled over in front of a hotel.

He was still on his call so he got out without telling me anything. I don't know whether to follow him or stay.

I rested my back against the seat and waited for him to come back.

Just when I thought I was dozing, my phone started ringing.

I reached into my bag and without looking, I answered. The sharp ear-piercing deep voice I heard caused me to bring the phone down from my ear before replacing it.

"Miss Grande, will you please come out or you need a palanquin to transport you?."

I gulped and nodded before realizing that he won't see it.

"Are you coming?" He asked and paused for a while. "Please answer me, don't nod again."

"I'm coming." I got my bag and stepped down.

" Okay, be quick. "

I walked inside and approached the front desk.

I forgot to ask him where I should go.

"Hi, please I came with Mr. Anosova."

What did I just say now?

The lady looked up at me from her book before lowering her eyes back. She's acting like she didn't see me.

Maybe I should reconstruct my sentence. I looked around the calm reception hall and asked again.

"Please I need Mr. Anosova's room number" I mentally hit my head for saying that.

" I'm sorry, we don't give such information." She answered.

" Well, he's my boss so you can tell me."

"No, I can't!" She refused.

"Why won't you? I told you that he's my boss. "

" That is not enough!. " She raised her tone a little higher.

" Okay fine! I guess I just have to call him instead. " I equally raised my voice.

" Miss Grande? "

I turned to see a man dressed in a uniform.

" Yes? "

" This way please." He said and led the way. I glared daggers at the lady before going to meet the man.

" Can you tell me why? " I asked.

" Mr. Anosova sent me. "

Finally.

I followed him upstairs then he stopped in front of a door. "This is your room madam."

He bowed and left.

I stepped inside the room and wondered what to do all alone. Dave is giving me so much attitude. I wished I followed my colleagues as he stared earlier.

I closed the door and entered fully. There's nothing extraordinary about this room that I haven't seen before; it was large and beautiful. It's just like an en-suite. But why would Dave book an en-suite when we're not even talking nicely like we used to?
