~LEONA~

Without warning, I jumped through the window and I bet he wasn't expecting it at all.
Before he could recover from that, I had already jumped from the balcony and got on the fence.

Without looking back, I jumped from the fence and landed on the grass.

"That was close," I muttered.

I wiped dirt from my hands as I walked to where Raymond's car was parked.
"Why are you sweating so much?"

Raymond asked when I got into the car.
" I jogged." I lied.
He nodded and drove off.
After a twenty minutes drive, he parked in front of a flat.

I took Leonard while he took the luggage.
"Is this your home?" I asked when we got in.
"Nope, our home."

The house looks exquisite. How did he manage to afford such a nice house?

What work is he doing?
"How did..."

"We'll talk about everything later but you first have to freshen up, eat and have some rest."

I didn't argue because I was very tired.

He showed me a beautiful spacious room for Leonard and I.

After putting him on the bed, I went to the washroom and had my bath. I came out with a towel wrapped around my body.

Raymond has already prepared something for me so I only ate.

When I was going to drop the plates, I saw him seated with a laptop on his lap.

"I can see you didn't bring any clothes. Can I have your address so I can pick it up after work tomorrow?" He asked.

My heart sank. How do I tell him that I didn't bring any clothes of mine?

If I tell him that I do not have a place to stay, he'll ask where I have been staying since I arrived.

"I lodged into a hotel, we arrived just a week.

I am yet to get a place, a house, and my clothes."
" Huh?" He arched a brow.

" You mean you didn't bring any of your belongings?"

" Yes, but I'll get some." I hurried back into my room before he began firing questions.

I went to the bed laid beside Leonard. After some minutes, I heard
someone knocking.

"Yeah, come in."

"You can manage this, we'll get some tomorrow." He gave me clean pajamas.

" Is that your girlfriend's.." I scrunch my nose up.

He chuckled and left.

I smelt it and it smells good.
I dropped my towel and got into them. It fitted perfectly.

I got back to bed thinking about how I was going to tell Raymond everything.

The cry of Leonard woke me and I sprang up instantly.

I rushed to his unpack luggage and got his formula bottle.

I picked him up, walked to the kitchen, and prepared a bottle for him. I am glad Raymond had everything.

After he'd finished taking it, he began to play around but I wasn't ready to play so I kept dozing.
After some time, he stopped moving about and came to sleep on me.
