EPILOGUE 🖤 Part two

             LEONA

"Really?" He came even closer, leaned into me and and bit my neck.

I looked up at him and caught him staring at my chest with so much hunger and lust but above all, love.

With Leonard in my arms, it made my towel pull down, revealing a greater part of my breast leaving only the nipples hidden.

"Make him sleep, Leo." His voice was begging. His lips moved to kiss the top of my breast but Leonard who hasn't slept yet pushed his head back and placed his little hands on my chest, shielding it from Dave.

Dave glared at him and swat Leonard's hands away. "She's my woman, young man."

"Seriously Dave. How would he sleep?" I laughed. History isn't repeating, is it?

First, it was me fighting Leonard and now Dave fighting him.

"Then tell him that. He seems to be competing with me."

Leonard wasn't having it either. He placed his hand back on my chest and added his head then rolled his baby blue eyes at Dave angrily.

"What! Did you see that?" Dave grumbled before placing his hands on my shoulders to spite Leonard.

It worked.

Leonard raised his head and when he saw that, he tried to get Dave's arm from me but Dave was stronger. When Leonard realized he won't be able to make Dave get his hand off, he gave out a loud shrill cry.

I laughed harder. I'm enjoying every bit of this.

Leonard started crying for real. It was so loud. He jumped out of my hands onto the floor and began to roll.

Okay. I get it now. He won't stop crying if Dave doesn't get his hand off me.

I pushed Dave's arm from my shoulders. "He won't sleep if you don't stop this."

"What must I do? You're mine."

"Are you listening to yourself? He's our son." I picked Leonard up and consoled him.

"Yeah. Just make him sleep. Is there really not any other way?"

"Make peace with him first by singing a lullaby?"

"What! I can't remember any."

"Try and remember."

"Okay. Give him to me."

Leonard refused to go to him so I sat back down and he followed suit.

"You can sing now. This should help him sleep."

He cleared his throat and when I looked at him, he cracked up.

He cleared his throat once more after the laughter interlude. I've never heard him sing before. This should be fun.

"Okay, I only know the chorus okay?" He chuckled slightly.

I'm so eager to hear him sing whatever song he has in mind.

By the time he finished, we both were a laughing mess but surprisingly, Leonard paid keen interest.

His voice was not bad and not good either. Just okay.

"Dave was that song meant for me or Leonard? It was a love song."
