"Could you make haste with that? We need to shop." Dave said when he came back from the washroom and I was still not done eating.

" Don't rush me, I can go alone," I told him.

"In case you don't know, you won't be going anywhere without me."

" Seriously? Is it that you don't have anything relevant to do?."

" Your mouth is running again." He eyed me and dropped his towel. My cheeks heated up and I looked away.

" You can do the shopping alone. I will just stay at home."

" That's not happening."

" Then relax. I'm feeding an extra mouth." I muttered and he laughed.

" Sure. Take your time." He gave in.

A knock sounds on the door before Raymond stepped in.

"How are you, Leo?"

"Hi, Raymond. I'm good." I looked up at him and he was still in Dave's clothes and he looked tired with some visible bruises. I looked at Dave too and he didn't look different. What have they been up to? I looked at the time and it was 2 pm. So soon? And I  am now having breakfast? Why did I sleep so much?

" How's your wrist?" He takes my wrists and examines it.

" I think it's better."

" Yeah. And Mr. Anosova, I want to dress your wound or you've done it already?"

" Not yet."

" Alright. Then I advise we get on with it. We don't want to incur more damage now, do we?"

Was this not supposed to be done early in the morning?

I kept wondering.

Dave disappeared into the washroom and I picked my empty tray and walked out. I sure don't want to see him wincing and gnashing his teeth in agitation.

Mary was feeding Leonard in the kitchen when I got there.

"Hi, Mary."

"Hi Leona, how are you? I heard you're expecting." Sue stared at me briefly with a knowing look.

" That's right."

" Aww, congratulations."

"Thanks." I dropped the tray and took the spoon from her and began to feed Leonard.

I was still in Dave's shirt and though Mary didn't say anything, I don't feel comfortable being in his shirt in front of her.

"Can you please dress Leonard for me?"

"You don't need to ask." She smiled kindly and I rushed up the stairs.  I began to feel dizzy after climbing the second flight of stairs.

I felt sick and my stomach was churning. My mouth began to water and I knew if I don't rush up, I will be soiling the stairs with my puke.

I increased my pace despite the extreme dizziness. I barged into the room and rushed to the washroom.

Fuck! I hate this.

I emptied almost all that I took in the sink and I felt Dave hold my hair out of my face and rubbed circles at my back. That was soothing.

After so much retching and throwing up, I felt a bit okay. The dizziness was still present as I rinsed my mouth and splashed water on my face.
