When I finally woke up I felt like I've been captured in a trunk as I couldn't move my body.

Every part of my body was hurting and my head was worse. It took me a minute before I recollected what happened and I shot up from my sleeping position and looked around but there was no sight of Yolando or his driver.

I can't believe he kept me in his car all night...

I stopped when I saw that it wasn't the same car and if it was the same car, then the mirrors have been fixed but I know Yolando won't waste his money to repair a car. He'll just abandon it. So it's a different car.

Out of all the places I thought I would wake up to I never imagined it would be in a car. I was thinking I would wake up in one of his torture rooms all tied up in a chair connected with spikes.

I moved my hands to my head but flinched when I felt a rough fabric. I'm sure it was his gun he inflicted the pain on my head with.

I tried the door of the car and it opened. I was surprised. Why would Lando leave me in a car with the doors unlocked?

Slowly, I moved my barefoot to the ground and I almost brought it back because it was so cold but I heard a familiar voice.

" I know just what you're capable of. There's nothing new."

I got on my feet that instant and saw Dave and Yolando.

They don't look like they're fighting but I was so damn scared for Dave. I told him not to get involved in this but fuck would he listen?

" What do you know?" My voice was strained as I stared at the two adults, wondering why they decided to meet and why not anywhere else but in the middle of a street.

Both of them turned in my direction but Yolando wasn't surprised.

Of course, he wouldn't be.

Dave aimed for me but Yolando stopped him then whispered something to him before looking up at me then stepping beside me.

" What is going on here? And Dave? What are you doing here?" I asked.

" That's not important. We just want to solve an issue amicably and it all depends on you." Yolando said and I got confused.

" How?" I asked again.

" He said he owns you but you know I'm your shadow. Now it's up to you to choose who you'll go to. Your non-existent lover or your SHADOW. Choose wisely because whoever you choose will come with a price"

I can't believe this.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Dave stare at me with a hideous smile as I rolled my eyes at what Yolando just said.

"Is that why we've assembled over here? " I asked and folded my arms on my chest.

"Not really but I'm just tired of arguing with Dave about who actually owns you and now I want you to tell him the harsh truth which is sure going to leave him devastated and heartbroken so that I can get out of here. " Replied, Lando.

" You mean both of you are busy trying to claim ownership over me? " I couldn't believe my ears.

Do they not have any better things to do with their time?

" I'm not claiming any ownership. Automatically you're mine and you know it. I don't need your approval or anything. " Yolando rumbled beside me.

He seems to be so sure of himself.

I waited for Dave to say something but he just remained quiet.

"What do you have to say, Dave?" I finally asked.
