Dave?

What is he doing here? I was supposed to meet Lando not him and how's this even possible?

"What are you doing here?" I asked and looked around.

The place is really not scary like I saw it in the dark. With the lights on, is really a beautiful mansion with a lot of cars parked inside and a red carpet.

Instead of answering, he grabbed my wrists and led me to the backyard where there was a beautiful hideous garden.

When we were there he let go and brushed past me roughly.

"How dare you do this to me, Leo! How could you? You were leaving me." His hands were fixed in his hair and he was pulling it frustratingly.

Does this mean Yolando is somewhere around here and Dave just arrived earlier than him?

But how did he know I was coming here?

"You weren't picking my calls.."

"Shut up! Just shut up!" He turned to me, fuming.

" That's not enough reason, okay? I wanted to stand with you through this. I meant what I said to you, everything. But you still don't believe me and neither do you understand anything. I care for you so why don't you get that?" He was shouting.

" You...you. se..sent the message?" I asked with a trembling voice. I was afraid he'll shut me down again.

His eyes narrowed on me but he didn't say anything.

"Answer me please." I wanted to know if he was the one who sent the previous text, the note, and the gun.

"What do you want to know?" He asked calmly this time.

"Everything. I want to know if you were behind the texts, the note, and the gu.." I paused.

There's no way Dave will know about my gun unless he works with Yolando and I can't picture that so it was definitely not him.

"I don't know about any other thing except for the message. I texted this location and I did through Yolando's number and you thought it was him. Well, it was his contact but it wasn't him that sent it. "

My lips formed an "O " shape. Everything makes sense now. Dave wasn't the one who put the gun in my car.

That's a relief somehow because I can't see Dave doing those things.

I need not ask him how he got to penetrate through his contact then made use of it but I'm wondering why he did it.

He surely tempered with my phone and did some things I guess. He also told me he copied Yolando's number so he must've gotten an expert to hack into Yolando's Sim.

"You shouldn't have played those games with me, Dave. I was terrified."

"I got to know you really don't care about anything. You could've been a little compassionate about your son if not for me!." He was back to yelling.

" Yeah, I know. I thought you went back on your word so I decided to handle everything the way I know it best. It's not like I didn't trust you, I just felt hopeless when you weren't talking to me." My voice was calm and I walked closer to him, noticing his appearance for the first time.

He looked dashing in his expensive designer suit like someone who was up for some charity ball.

"What made you think I would do that? I thought well about my decision so there's no way I'll be going back. And I was busy at work today. I've been spending so much time thinking about you that my work was piled up and you haven't been to work so you can imagine." His voice mirrored mine and he closed the gap between us.
