NCT Dream's Debut

Yu-Yu's Perspective~

For once, I was the first to wake up. I don't know I just couldn't sleep well last night. I've been so anxious for the past few days. The members and I have been practicing nonstop for days. I want to make sure I do well tonight, because I don't want to disappoint my hyungs.

I wonder if it's normal to feel so nervous yet excited about something? Anyways, I decided to hop out of bed quietly. I don't want to wake Jisung or Jaemin up. I looked through my closet deciding on today's outfit. I found the perfect outfit for today's occasion.

I decided to settled for a simple, yet comfy outfit that will let me move around a lot in. I picked out a oversized hoodie, skinny jeans, and black converse. I made sure to pick up my minions pouch as well.

I headed towards the bathroom. I quickly took a hot shower, and placed on my clothes that I chose. I brushed my teeth and did my skincare. Which consists of mineral water and facial cream. I turned off the light and walked down to the kitchen.

I rummaged through the fridge and pantry. I wanted Jaemin to sleep in so I decided to cook breakfast. I whipped up some morning stew and some fruit. One by one all the members came down.

As we were eating I made sure to eat lightly, since I don't like to eat much when I'm anxious. Mark patted my head. "Are you okay, buddy?" I replied, "I'm okay hyung!" I gave some of my leftovers to Renjun and Jeno. I swiftly looked at our schedule.

The only thing on today's schedule was Music Bank. Chenle asked me quietly, "Yu-Yu are you nervous?" "To be honest, I'm quite nervous for our debut. I just want us to do successful tonight." Chenle nodded his head and continued eating his breakfast.

I walked over to the sink and placed my dish down. Haechan tapped my shoulder and motioned me towards the living room. "Yu-Yu ah, you need to stop worrying about our debut. Baby, you're going to do great tonight alongside us." Haechan had managed to calm my nerves a little. I gave him a hugged and thanked him for his kind words.

Skipped to the van~

The hyungs and I were on our way to Music Bank. Jisung tapped me, "Yu-Yu, let's listen to some music together." I grabbed his other earbud and listened to his playlist. One of our favorite songs came on. We sung to one another to pass time. All of a sudden a flash went off. Jisung and I looked up and saw that Jaemin had snapped a photo of us.

Jisung shouted, "Yah! Hyung that's an invasion of privacy." Renjun jumped in, "Jisung isn't wrong hyung." I giggled at the three arguing with one another. "WE HAVE ARRIVED!" Our manger shouted. I got out of the van after Haechan exited.

Haechan stated, "Yu-Yu hold hyung's hand. I don't want you to get hurt." I quickly grabbed onto his hand. Jeno grabbed my other hand as we walked infront of the photographers. After spending ten minutes taking pictures we all entered into the building.

Jaemin went over the schedule, "We have to go to soundcheck, and then we have about a two hour time frame. We don't go on stage until 5 which is in four hours." Mark mentioned, "We're supposed to be headed to soundcheck in twenty minutes."

I nodded my head at both of my hyungs. I decided to go talk to sunije noona aka my makeup artist. She mentioned, "Yu-Yu ah, noona wants to give you a natural look. I want to showcase your freckles and tan skin. I think a natural look would best fit this concept. We would only need to focus on your outfit and hair for today."

I gladly agreed with her decision.

I asked, "Noona can you watch my pouch later tonight when I'm on stage?" She giggled, "Of course! I won't let anyone steal Yu-Yu's precious minions pouch." "Thank you, noona!" She smiled at me as I got up from her chair.

Mark came towards me. He whispered, "Yu-Yu let's go we're being called for soundcheck." "Okay!" Mark walked behind me making sure that nobody would harm me. We both arrived to the soundcheck stage. I greeted my other hyungs and got into my position.

We all went over the choreography while making sure our mics were working. We all sung in unison, "Chew-chew-chew-chew chewing gum, gum, gum
내 까만 스니커즈를 지금 멈추게 (만든 너) 범인은 어서 나와 좋은 말 할 때 (빨리나와)." I circled around Renjun on my hoverboard, while the others circled around one another."

Once soundcheck was done hyungs and I headed back to our dressing room. I went over the choreography a few more times. I had to make sure I knew how to balance while doing the choreography at the same time. The members showed me a few tricks that helped me control my balance more.

"Thank you, hyungs!" They all ruffled and squeezed my cheeks. Chenle screamed loudly," WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE?" I nearly fell off the hoverboard. Jeno bopped me on the nose. "Hyung's got your nose Yu-Yu." I giggled as I chased after Jeno. "Hyung give me back my nose." The others laughed at us as I got closer to Jeno.

"Here you go Yu-Yu ah." I announced randomly, "I wanted to thank you guys for accepting me into the group. You all could've told Sooman no, but you guys agreed and I couldn't be any happier. I haven't been this happy for a while. I don't want us to ever stop talking. Hyungs promise me that when you guys get older that you won't forget about Yu-Yu."

They all said in unison, "Yu-Yu, hyungs will never forget the young talented boy who came into our lives. We love you and wish the best for you. We promise that we'll all do great tonight."

We were all interrupted by the Music Bank staff.

The Dreamies Perspectives~

We were all having a family moment when the Music Bank stuff interrupted us. The staff shouted, "YOU
GUYS GO ON IN A HOUR!" We all rushed over to our stylist and makeup artists. We each have different make up artists.

We all looked over at one another making sure that we looked perfect for the stage. Yu-Yu was struggling to put on his mic. Jaemin rushed over towards the Maknae like a mummy bear. "Baby let Hyung help you with your mic." Yu-Yu handed his mic to Jaemin.

We watched as the mic was being clipped onto his ear piece. Yu-Yu went to go change into his outfit. He came back out wearing the most adorable outfit on display. It would've looked even cuter with his minions pouch. Once we were all dressed and ready for the stage we did our pep talk.

"NCT DREAM! WE GOT THIS! WE HOLD THE DEEAMS OF OUR TEENAGE DREAMS! LET'S SHOOT FARTHER THAN THE LONGITUDE OF THE WORLD!"

Third Person Perspective~

The members of Dream headed to stage. They all got into their positions and made magic on stage. Let's just say that a lot of people were starting to stan
the young artists as they performed. That night the boys ended up winning the award for the night.

They all celebrated with the other sub units back at the dorm. For the next few months the boys were living such amazing lives. Many fans were on edge waiting for the boys to make their comeback.

The boys ended up going on Inkigayo and winning another award. Many people were shocked by how talented these eight young boys were. They took the nation by storm with their catchy and uplifting music. Chewing Gum had made it onto many Korean Music Top Charts. That night at Music Bank the eight members made history.
