Third Person Perspective
The members including WAYV cuz they're apart of NCT were sitting in the kitchen discussing what they wanted to do for Yu-Yu's birthday. They couldn't really plan much due to the virus and the pandemic, so they decided to do something rather small but large at the same time.
It's currently 4 am, Yu-Yu wakes up in an hour to go to the company. After thinking for about thirty minutes, they decided to throw a mini party that included the members only. Each member got assigned things to pick up or buy for the party.
The members were all talking amongst one another when they heard tiny footsteps coming down the stairs. Before they could say anything, Yu-Yu quickly announced, "Hyungs and geges, I'm gonna head to the company to go over a few songs and choreograph something. I'll probably be back around dinner time. Bye! I love you guys."
The front door closed softly. Jungwoo mentioned, "Oh my goodness... he forgot about his birthday again. Aish! This child forgets his birthday every year. At least we have more time to pick up the decorations." Lucas asked, "Didn't he forget his birthday last year? He seriously thought we were joking or pranking him."
Mark laughed remembering when Yu-Yu kept asking why the members were singing happy birthday to him. "Yuta go to the company and make sure he doesn't try to leave or come back early." Yuta nodded his head and left the dorm.
The rest of the members quickly hopped into the vans, and drove off to go pick up the items and gifts that were needed for their maknae's birthday.
Doyoung and Kun were assigned to pick up the cake that Taeyong ordered. The others were either assigned to buy food, presents, or decorations. It took about five hours and two arguments before the members arrived at the company with everything that was needed for Yu-Yu's birthday.
Hendery and Jaehyun nearly dropped the cake in the van causing the members to duct tape the cake to a seat. Chenle asked Haechan, "Did you really have to duct tape the damn cake to the seat?" Haechan replied with some sass, "Yes! Do you have a problem with the cake being protected by duct tape?"
Chenle rolled his eyes playfully while shaking his head in disbelief. Ten shouted out randomly, "Jaehyun has no cake." Jungwoo started laugh g causing him to get a death glare from Jaehyun. It took the members about a solid twenty minutes just to get up on the fifth floor.
