2019, Yu-Yu took a hiatus off of social media due to a lot of fans and hate being thrown his way. 2019 was not his year due to false scandals and the hate getting to him. The comments were about how he should grow up and stop being himself. It got to the point where Yu-Yu's mental health went down.
People were always commenting about how he acts like a child, or they would have an issue with the way he acted. Yu-Yu couldn't be himself without hate being sent his way. A lot of antis talked about how they hate his pure and kind self, which made Yu-Yu feel as if all the fans felt this way towards him.
He rarely would ever look at the camera or be in the center of attention. He would try to hide or move out of the way due to thinking that people actually hated him. He tried to change himself but people still weren't happy. Therefore, he decided himself to not really be involved with anything social media related or fan activities.
He went from having nightly v-lives to zero v-lives in an instant. The scandals that dispatch started due to not having anything to report on made a lot of fans believe something that wasn't real. The scandals ranged from drugs to assault. The members sued Dispatch due to those made up scandals.
The company didn't really do much to prevent Yu-Yu and the group from these very vicious fake ass scandals. Yu-Yu was rarely seen on camera or outside of the dorm. It took about a year for him to feel somewhat alright to appear on social media again.
He became very cautious and scared about doing anything. He was afraid of people hating on him due to those fake scandals. He became even more quiet and fragile than before.
