Jaehyun forgetting Yu-Yu in Hawaii

Back in 2017, Jaehyun decided to go on a little vacation with his 'child'. They two went to Hawaii cuz that was the only place that the company allowed them to travel to at the time. While the two were in Hawaii, Jaehyun accidentally left Yu-Yu back on the island right as he was about to board the flight back to Korea.

Let's see what happened that caused Yu-Yu to be lost in Hawaii for a little while.

Present

Jaehyun was currently packing his and Yu-Yu's luggages since it was time for the two to return to Korea to prepare for their comeback. Yu-Yu was currently asleep in Jaehyun's jacket, because he said Jaehyun's jacket is warm and cozy. Jaehyun laughed when he heard Yu-Yu say that.

After packing up the luggages for two hours, the older idol called a taxi before waking up the young child. Jaehyun gently woke the child up, "Baby, you need to wake up since Appa just called the taxi."
Yu-Yu pouted but got up and followed Jaehyun outside towards the taxi.

Yu-Yu entered the vehicle and fell right back asleep. Jaehyun emailed and messaged a few people, as he looked over time to time at the sleeping child. Jaehyun prayed that he wouldn't lose Yu-Yu on the island.

Skip forward to the airport

Jaehyun unloaded the luggages and handed Yu-Yu his minions scooter luggage. Yu-Yu held Jaehyun's hand and let go once he noticed that his shoes weren't tied. Yu-Yu crouched down and tied his shoes, while Jaehyun walked into the airport not even noticing that the child wasn't holding his hand anymore.

Yu-Yu looked up after tying his shoes, and he noticed that Jaehyun was no where in sight. Yu-Yu quickly scooted into the airport with his luggage, but he didn't see Jaehyun or any Korean person in sight. Yu-Yu shouted for Jaehyun, "Appa! Appa where are you?!?!" Yu-Yu shouted for ten minutes straight before giving up.

Yu-Yu decided to try and text Doyoung to see if he could contact Jaehyun. You may be wondering why Yu-Yu isn't contacting Jaehyun, because the child can't remember anybody's phone number except for Doyoung. Doyoung made the poor kid write down his phone number twenty times in one sitting.

Yu-Yu shivered at the faint memory.

Yu-Yu sighed as Doyoung replied back saying he would try his best to get in contact with Jaehyun.
A thought came to Yu-Yu's mind that caused him to run out of the airport and to head straight towards Dole Plantation. Yu-Yu remembered a scene in Despicable Me where Bob the minion got lost inside a pineapple.

Yu-Yu set off on his scooter thinking that Bob the Minion was actually stuck at Dole Plantaiton. The child used his tiny legs to kick off on his scooter.
Yu-Yu managed to pull out a banana milk and sip on it as he rode to the long destination.

Jaehyun's Perspective

I was busy looking at my plane ticket, when I got an incoming message. I pulled out my phone and noticed that Doyoung had texted me. He said that Yu-Yu's lost somewhere in the airport. I didn't believe him which I told him that myself. Doyoung messaged me to look down and that's when I knew I fucked up.

I looked down and didn't see Yu-Yu or his minions scooter near me. I quickly left the luggages not even caring about the clothing in them. All I cared about was finding my damn son and getting off this island as quickly as possible before Manager Min scolds me. I ran out of the airport knowing for a damn fact that Yu-Yu wasn't inside the airport anymore.

I quickly fetched the gps tracker that I placed on
Yu-Yu's phone. I looked at the pin point location trying to find my child. It took me five minutes before figuring out where he was. My eyes widened as I looked at his location. He was at the Dole Plantation which was like 30 miles away.

I pulled out the camera that was attached to the tracker that allows me to see his exact movements. I nearly laughed out of panic at the sight that I saw. Yu-Yu was riding on his scooter on the freeway. I quickly hauled a taxi and jumped in. The driver asked me where to head to which I said Dole Plantation.

I couldn't stop my heart from beating so fast due to pure panic of Yu-Yu practically having a 99% chance of being ran over on the freeway. I made the taxi driver drive over the speed limit by 100 mph. Not too long after, I arrived infront of the location that the gps said that Yu-Yu was at. I paid the driver and quickly jumped out.

Back to Yu-Yu

Yu-Yu had arrived at Dole Plantation and scooted his way through the place. Yu-Yu stumbled upon a huge pineapple, but as he went in he saw no sight of Bob. The young child pouted before going deeper into the plastic pineapple. Yu-Yu looked around for an hour before giving up.

On the bright side, Yu-Yu stumbled upon a shop inside the pineapple that sold banana milk slushies. Yu-Yu walked up to the lady who stared at him with a kind smile. Yu-Yu couldn't speak English, so he just pointed at the slushie on the mini menu.

The nice lady signed the number zero to Yu-Yu. The lady said to the child, "I'll give you the beverage for free, kiddo." Yu-Yu only knowing the word free nodded his head and sat on his scooter. He watched the lady make the beverage, before she presented it to him.

Yu-Yu thanked the lady mentally, and took the drink and sat right outside of the plastic pineapple. The child drank his slushie as he admired the sight.

Back to Jaehyun

The older idol rna over to the huge plastic pineapple and found a little boy on a scooter drinking something. Jaehyun rubbed his eyes making sure he was seeing things properly. Jaehyun soon realized that the young child was Yu-Yu. Jaehyun rushed over towards Yu-Yu.

Yu-Yu looked up at the older, "Oh hey Appa! Do you want some of my slushie?" Jaehyun took a deep breathe trying to keep calm. "Baby, I want to know why you weren't beside me at the airport. I also want to know how in the world did you get here in less than thirty minutes. Why are you here?"

Yu-Yu giggled not being able to control his laughter.

Yu-Yu shortly after explained, "I had to tie my shoes since they came undone at the airport, so I bent down to tie them and when I looked up you were gone. I got here on my scooter, and I nearly got ran over like five times.

I came here looking for Mr. Bob but he wasn't here like he said he would in the movie. Mr. Bob is a liar." Jaehyun mumbled under his breath, "I love you child, but you honestly drive me crazy."

Jaehyun shook his head in disbelief. "Baby, you're gonna hold my hand the whole entire time at the airport and on the plane. Do I have myself clear?"  Yu-Yu nodded his head causing himself to nearly choked on his drink. The two walked back to the taxi and drove back to the airport.

Jaehyun somehow lost Yu-Yu again, but found the child playing on the conveyor belt. After an exhausting day, the two idols finally boarded the plane headed back to Seoul. Let's just say Jaehyun from then on strapped a leash to his belt that connected to Yu-Yu's pouch, so that wherever he goes he can't lose Yu-Yu quite literally.

That was the story on how Jaehyun left Yu-Yu on one of Hawaii's island for nearly three hours.
