"Please don't leave... please"

"Hyung, thank you for buying dinner. I'll make sure the members and I share." Yu-Yu smiled up at his manager. Min nodded his head, and placed a soft kiss on the child's head. 

The older looked down at his watch, "Yu-Yu ah, I must get home before Seunji beats me up, but make sure you meet me at the van at 3:33 am. Eat and sleep well tonight. You have a busy day ahead of you. I love you, bubba. Take it easy."

Yu-Yu giggled while waving to Min, as the older swiftly drove off. Yu-Yu slowly waddled to the WayV dorm.  He opened the door expecting to see P-pong, but he was greeted by Lucas.

Yu-Yu looked up with a confused expression, "Ge where's p-pong? Is he sleeping?" Lucas quickly shot Kun a look of help. Kun came over and tried to figure out a lie that could keep Yu-Yu calm. "Why don't we eat dinner first, and then you can go see
P-Pong."

Yu-Yu stared at the two for a little while, before he spoke up, "Ge, I want to go see P-pong now." Lucas whispered to Yu-Yu, "Let's eat first and then you can go see P-pong. Okay?" Yu-Yu pouted and followed Kun and Lucas to the dining table.

Yu-Yu placed down the box of fried chicken and fries. Ten got Yu-Yu a plate of the food, and watched as Yu-Yu took a sip of his drink. Hendery shot Ten a look of worry. Ten reassured the younger, "Don't worry."

Yu-Yu excitedly asked, "Did P-pong play with the new toy I bought him? I got it in his favorite color." Xiaojun laughed nervously, "Y-yeah... he was playing with it earlier." Yu-Yu's eyes shot up with happiness, "Really?!?! I'll make sure to buy him another one."

Hendery commented, "Bubba, I don't think you need to buy him anymore toys." Yu-Yu pouted, "What do you mean?" YangYang intervened, "He doesn't mean anything by that." Yu-Yu nodded his head while staring at his hyungs weirdly.

WinWin had asked Yu-Yu, "How was your day, kiddo?" Yu-Yu jumped out of his seat, "It was amazing... I went to minionsland, and I got P-pong some new treats and an outfit. I can't wait to cuddle with him later."

The members felt their hearts clench after hearing Yu-Yu's last sentence. The members all looked at
Yu-Yu with a sad and guilty look. Yu-Yu was busy eating to notice them pitying him.

Yu-Yu finished eating one chicken tender, before he excused himself to go to his room. The members were about to stop him, but Yu-Yu's tiny ass legs ran the speed of light.

Yu-Yu quickly waddled into his room and flipped the switch on. Yu-Yu smiled as he saw P-pong's tail stick out at the edge of his bed. Yu-Yu walked over to the edge of the bed where P-pong was.

He gently lifted the blanket up and touched
P-Pong's paw. Yu-Yu nearly jumped back at how cold P-pong felt. Yu-Yu whispered softly, "P-Pong wake up. I want to cuddle and play."

Yu-Yu softly poked
P-Pong, but the dog didn't wake up nor move.

Yu-Yu poked the dog once more, before he placed his hand over P-Pong's pulse. Yu-Yu didn't even feel a pulse. Yu-Yu started to freak out, "P-pong wake up. Come on! Please stay with me P-pong. Please don't leave... please."

The members were all outside of
Yu-Yu's door trying to hold in their cries. Ten started crying once he heard Yu-Yu's sobs. "Nooooooooo! Why'd you leave me? Why? COME BACK! P-pong!"
WinWin couldn't handle hearing his child in pain. The older ran into the room and held Yu-Yu tightly.

Kun soon followed WinWin and broke down at the sight of Yu-Yu's puffy eyes and red nose. WinWin gently patted Yu-Yu's back, "It's okay. You can cry... I'm here for you." 

Yu-Yu whimpered out, "Why'd he have to leave me?" At that moment, the members knew that they couldn't give the younger answers to his questions. The only sound that could be heard in the dorm was Yu-Yu's painful sobs.

Yu-Yu asked the members, "H-hyungs can I please have some alone time with P-pong?" YangYang answered for them, "Of course. Take as long as you need." Yu-Yu thanked the members as Lucas and YangYang pulled and dragged them out of the room.

When Yu-Yu heard the door close, he laid down and brought P-pong onto his chest. Yu-Yu tried to contain his tears, but he broke down at the sight of his unconscious paw friend.

Yu-Yu couldn't help but apologize to the dead dog.
"I'm sorry P-pong for not being here for you in your last moments. Thank you for being the most amazing best friend I could ever ask for. Thank you for being my family for fourteen years. You were all I had left of my family, but we must let go of family at some point.

Thank you for staying by my side and greeting me everyday after work. I'm gonna miss you so much, bud. I'm gonna miss your cuddles and you comforting me when I'm not feeling well.  I wish you could come back. I'm glad you aren't in pain in anymore.

Please watch over mum and dad for me.
I love you, bud.

Let me hold you one last time."

Yu-Yu held the dog tightly to his chest and cuddled into the dog. The child cried and placed kisses all over the dog's face. Yu-Yu ended up passing out from exhaustion and crying his heart out.

The members came in later that night and found
Yu-Yu asleep holding onto P-pong tightly. Their hearts broke at the sight.

For the next few weeks, Yu-Yu was heartbroken but still buried his long time best friend. From that day on, the child learned to hold onto family for as long as you can, because they can disappear in an instant.
