Yu-Yu's Perspective on dating a foreigner

Question: Would you ever date a foreigner?

Yu-Yu: Of course! I'm also a foreigner it would only make sense for me to be accepting to the idea of dating one. To me love is love just as long as it's legal. I don't think race, religion, or ethnicity matter just as long as the person I'm with is happy. I know that there will be a lot of problems ahead when dating a foreigner, but all those problems and troubles will be worth it if the person is the one. You kinda have to have a different perspective on types of situations.

Question: Would you learn their native language even if you don't speak it?

Yu-Yu: I would learn their native language to ensure that they feel comfortable speaking to me in whatever language puts them at ease. I don't expect them to speak perfect Korean, because that's just wrong to assume that someone can and can't speak a language. I would honestly love to learn my love's native language just for them. All languages are beautiful in their own way. It would honestly be quite awkward if neither of us could understand one another.

Question: Would you let the cultural difference get between you two?

Yu-Yu: I know that cultural differences would be something that we would have to work on together. I would try my best to do my research and to teach them about my culture while they teach me about theirs. We must teach one another about respect towards our cultures and manners. I know that it would be difficult but worth the hardships. You bag can't expect someone to be perfectly mannered towards your culture. We must learn and appreciate different cultures.

Question: How would you handle society's opinions on a foreign relationship?

Yu-Yu: First off it's nobody's business who I decide to date or go out with. Your opinions really don't and won't matter, because you aren't in the relationship which also doesn't give you a say in my relationship. You literally have no right to judge what goes on in my private life. Please mind your own business whenever I'm dating someone.
