The members have always teased Yu-Yu for mixing up which units he's with. Yu-Yu's one of the members who can't remember song titles and unit names. One time Yu-Yu was with SuperM and said that he was with NCT DREAM instead of SuperM. The members constantly bring that incident up just to tease the younger.
Currently 127 were being interviewed by Billboard for Kick It era. The members were placed from oldest to youngest for this specific interview. The interview was to talk about the song meaning, a few personal questions, and random questions that the boys could understand in English without a translator around. Yu-Yu at the time of the interview was going over English vocabs as the others talk.
The interviewer had asked the others question, and then it came time for the youngest to answer a few questions. Haechan softly tapped Yu-Yu causing the younger to snap out of his trace. Taeil giggled at
Yu-Yu's confused expression before returning his gaze towards the interviewer.
The interviewer smiled at Yu-Yu before asking a few questions. "Please introduce yourself cutie."
Yu-Yu whispered in a questioning tone, "Hyungs is it okay if I answer in Korean?" The younger had asked because one time an interviewer scolded him for speaking in Korean instead of English.
Yu-Yu didn't want to make the same mistake so he had asked the members. Haechan cooed, "of course! You can speak in Korean and one of us will translate it for the interviewer. Speak in whatever language you feel comfortable with." Yu-Yu nodded his head thanking Haechan silently. (Fullsun 🥺)
Yu-Yu introduced himself quietly as everyone watched. "Annyeonghaseyo jae irum yu-yu iminda. I'm fifteen years old and I'm the Maknae of NCT and SuperM. It's nice to meet you!" One of the staff translated for Yu-Yu. The interviewer silenced cooed at Yu-Yu's cute introduction. Yu-Yu waved at the interviewer and gave an eye smile.
The interviewer asked, "How do you juggle being in five groups?" Yu-Yu replied with a soft laugh, "Honestly, I have at least one of my members with me whenever I'm in my other sub units. I guess they're like my motivation and the reason why I strive to do my best and to juggle the five groups.
It wasn't easy at first. It truly took me a while to get used to being in a lot of groups and having a lot of pressure on my shoulders." The interviewer nodded his head. The interviewer asked the next question not thinking that the younger would seriously mix up what group he was with.
The interviewer jokingly asked, "Let's put this to the test! What group are you with right now?" Yu-Yu replied with so much fucking confidence, "WayV!" Jungwoo gasped while Jaehyun and Johnny were laughing like crazy. Mark commented, "Yo! I ain't Lucas, honey." Taeyong was laughing until he noticed the look of guilt on the younger's face.
Yu-Yu whimpered, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to say WayV. I know I'm with 127 hyungs right now. Sorry sorry sorry!" {Alexa play Sorry Sorry by Super Junior} Haechan softly rubbed the younger's back as the younger whimpered slightly from the thought that the members were laughing at him. Doyoung whispered yelled, "Aigoo! Sweetie, we aren't laughing at you. It was just a little funny."
Yu-Yu nodded his head feeling a little better. The members stopped laughing since the interviewer still had questions to ask. The interviewer expressed, "Woah! That was quite funny. I'm sure you know your sub units and groups young fella." Yu-Yu giggled at the response.
After the Interview| Inside the Van
"HAHAHAHAHA! Yu-Yu ah we can barely speak in fluent Chinese and Mandarin." Yu-Yu banged his head against the seat as the members kept teasing him about the incident from earlier. Yu-Yu explained, "I know that we're 127. I don't even know why I said WayV. Also none of you are in WayV. HAHAHAHA SO WHO'S THE ONE LAUGHING NOW?!?! ME, ME, ME!"
Taeyong rolled his eyes playfully, "Guess who's gonna go home and study which units they're in? You my dear child who has the memory of Dory." Yu-Yu replied to Taeyong's question while sipping on a banana milk. "I think it might be the bleach and hair dye that's seeping into my brain."
The members, "👁👄👁"
