{BM| Matthew} The two become friends after BM had mentioned in a V-Live. Matthew has admitted that Yu-Yu is one of his bias's in NCT. Yu-Yu and him message one another daily. Whenever they run into eachother at awards, Matthew and the other members of Kard treat the young boy like their child. The pair have made three V-Lives together. Many fans enjoy watching those V-Lives, because the two are very different from one another. BM is like the funny brother that Yu-Yu has always wanted.

{Shownu} The two became friends when Shownu was at a broadcast. Yu-Yu happened to be at that broadcast as a host, and the two soon became close friends afterwards. Shownu calls Yu-Yu his little bear cub. The two go on vacations together, and they tend to take photos like a father and son duo. When Yu-Yu was injuries last year, Shownu came by the dorms and dropped off soup and medication daily. You'll most likely see the two in Seoul eating and shopping.

{Woosung} Yu-Yu is a huge fan of The Rose, but Woosung was definitely a bigger fan of Yu-Yu. The row met when Yu-Yu bad came to one of the concerts. Woosung has noticed him and invited him backstage. The two exchanged numbers and became amazing friends shortly after. Woosung and the young idol collaborated on a song together. Whenever the two run into eachother, they make sure to make their time enjoyable.

{Loco} Loco is someone that Yu-Yu admires. When the two met Yu-Yu was like a fanboy towards Loco. Loco found the young boy's admiration for him adorable. Loco mentioned in an interview that Yu-Yu was like a son that he always wanted. About two times a month Loco invites the young boy over for a sleep over. Not many fans know about their friendship, but the ones that do know are lucky.

{Haon} The two met eachother through Jay Park. Although Haon is older than the boy, he looks up to Yu-Yu in a sense. These two are truly too adorable when put together. Whenevr, Yu-Yu visit Haon the older makes sure that they watch Despicable Me. The two have been rumored to be collaborating on something. You'll most likely see them at the local arcade or eating gimbap on th side of the road.
