"I'm scared for the day to come when we aren't one."

Yu-Yu has always had this one fear that overrides over his other fears. This fear started to get worse as time went by quickly. This specific fear caused the younger to cry from fear of the members leaving him once the group disbands or goes off in life.

Yu-Yu basically classified himself as an orphan who was practically adopted by SM.

He wasn't really wrong with that statement, but he didn't really know what he was gonna do when the time came to walk away from everything. Yu-Yu was usually great at masking this fear, but then one day the members noticed how the younger was acting a little off. Which caused them to worry and to feel the need to check in with their baby.

Let's get back to present time

The members were all in the practice room hanging out and going over dances, when their attention was casted onto their youngest member. They all watched the young boy closely with their gazes. They noticed how the younger's eyes would tear up constantly as he zoned out.

They didn't really want to press on the matter, but watching their baby cry broke their hearts.
They all tried to return their attention to one another. Yu-Yu tried to hide his sobs and tears, but they all started pouring out like a waterfall.

The members turned back around this time full of worry, since their child was crying like crazy. Taeyong swiftly ran over towards his child and picked him up.

"It's okay bubba. What's wrong? Can you tell hyung?" Yu-Yu couldn't say anytime except for grasping onto Taeyong's shirt. Jisung came over since he could usually calm Yu-Yu down, but
Yu-Yu's crying only increased as the second youngest approached him.

Jisung tried to ask, "Are you okay?" Yu-Yu tried to hold in his sobs, but then he ended up
almost choking on his them.

Eventually after crying for about thirty minutes,
Yu-Yu managed to knock himself out. Taeyong noted to talk to Yu-Yu when he wakes up. Jungwoo suggested, "Let's let him rest for a bit and then we can talk to him." Jeno nodded his head agreeing with Jungwoo.

Taeyong nodded his head, while gently moving
Yu-Yu onto his back.

Taeil came over and grabbed Yu-Yu from Taeyong. He placed the younger on his lap and ruffled through his hair. Chenle asked, "Do you all have any idea on why he was crying?"

Kun replied, "I don't really know but it must be something cuz I've never seen him cry like that." Mark whispered, "It might be something with us and the contracts coming up."

Doyoung asked Mark, "What do you mean?"
Not only was Doyoung interested but the other members were also interested. "We have to renew our contracts soon, but I think he's worried about us leaving him." Johnny looked hurt, "Why would we ever leave him?"

Yuta interrupted while explaining, "Johnny, you have to understand that he didn't really grow up with actual parents. He was basically adopted into SM at such a young age. He doesn't really know what family is besides us."

Jaemin had realized that what Yuta said was true. Yu-Yu doesn't really have anyone besides the members. The members kept this thought on their mind and tried to return back to different topics. About an hour later, Yu-Yu started to wiggle awakes which caused Taeil to laugh at him.

Yu-Yu cuddled into Taeil's side before fully waking up. The younger slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes. The members cooed at his cute action. Yu-Yu shyly hid behind Taeil. Haechan jokingly shouted, "YAH! Don't be getting all shy up on us."

Yu-Yu giggled at what Haechan had said. Yu-Yu whispered to himself, "I'm gonna miss this." The members somehow heard what he said and were confused by it.

Winwin asked with concern, "Baby what do you mean by I'm gonna miss this?" Yu-Yu sighed while sipping his banana milk. "Are contracts are about to end in a few years, and that means that I'm gonna be back to being that orphan who was never loved.

I'm gonna miss us making memories and being a family. You all became my family the day I entered into the company. You guys showed me what it's liked to be loved by several angels. I'm not ready to let you all go out and spread your wings.

Xiaojun came over towards Yu-Yu and sat right bedside the younger. He grabbed Yu-Yu's hand and held them as he spoke. "We will never leave you alone in the darkness. You have all 23 of us here to protect and to take you under our wings. I promise you that we won't let you go back to being that orphan, okay? You're our little baby.

Don't ever think that we won't be one." Jaehyun brought up, "We'll always remain as one until the day we die. We're family which means that family doesn't leave family out in the dark alone. Wherever we go you'll be right next to us. No one is going to leave you here alone.

We all made that promise to you twelve years ago, and I'm pretty sure none of us want to break that promise." Taeyong and Doyoung weirdly said at the same time, "What kind of mother would I be if I left you in the dark alone?" Yu-Yu sarcastically shouted, "A GOOD ONE!" They both looked at him like

Yu-Yu asked for reassurance, "You aren't gonna leave me right?" Hendery laughed, "Of course! None of us can be away from you for long periods of time."
Yu-Yu nodded his head. YangYang asked, "is that why you were crying earlier?"

Yu-Yu took a sip of his drink for a minute, before he spoke due to his nerves. "Yeah" Ten sighed, "Look... the members and I will never ever leave you alone. You'll forever be our child, baby, and our wonderful Maknae... that's FINAL!"

Yu-Yu started crying happy tears, "Oh relloi" Jisung bursted out laughing, "Hehe... you sounded just like me when you said that." Yu-Yu giggled nearly choking on his banana milk.

Yu-Yu shouted, "FOREVER YOUNG FAMILY"

Shotaro and Sungchan shouted back, "FOREVER YOUNG FAMILY"

The other 21 members placed their hands together on top of the three hands. "FORVER YOUNG FAMILY"
