Braiding

I could hear multiple voices coming from Faith's room but only her, Sy, and Akia were in there. So I walked up to her door and peeked inside and seen that Sy was watching how to french braid tutorials.

I smiled as I leaned against the doorway and watched as he did just like the person on the video was doing with the mannequin head.

I held up my phone and recorded him as he would make sure he was doing every step right.

"I need to lean forward a bit baby girl," Sy told Faith

She did as he had asked.

"Thank you, baby," he said 

"welcome daddy" she replied.

I smiled and stopped recording.

I slipped my phone in my pocket as I continued to watch the two.

"Hello mommy, daddy is doing my hair," Faith said noticing my presents.

Sy looked from the video over at me and smiled.

I pushed off the doorway and walked into her room and knelt.

"I see, that," I tell Faith as I lean forward and kiss her forehead before standing up and watching up close Sy finish up the braid like the person in the video was doing.

"I see you remember me telling you about the leaning to tighten the braid," I say

He nodded his head as he put the hair tie in her hair then sprayed her hair with hair spray.

"How does it look, mommy?" Faith asked

"I think it looks beautiful baby"  I replied

She stands up and goes out of her room to the bathroom.

"Not bad at all darling," I tell Sy

He pulls me on his lap after emptying his hands.

"Your hair is next," he said 

I smiled and went to kiss his cheek but he turned last minute and I kissed his lips which made me laugh as I cupped his jaw and deepened the kiss.

"Sneaky Sy."

He shrugs and kisses me some more.

"Daddy I love it thank you so much," Faith said 

We pull away and I get up much to Sy's dismay.

"I am glad you love it, baby girl," he says as he gets up and goes to her while I gather the hairspray and other hair products he used and take them into the master bathroom and put them with my other things before I post the video on my social media along with a quick picture that I just took after posting the video.

We all three headed downstairs and took Akia out before we all headed out for lunch.

People complimented Faith's hair and she beamed with pride saying thank you, my daddy, did it which made Sy smile.

When we got back home Faith had fallen asleep so Sy carried her inside and got her changed into her pajamas before he went to take her hair down but she wouldn't have it. She woke up and told him no that she wanted her hair to stay how it was. 

He nodded his head and kissed her head then got up while I leaned over and kissed her cheek and bid her goodnight and sweet dreams before Sy and I walked out.

" She will try her best to wear that hairstyle for a full week or at least two days, casue her daddy did it," I tell Sy as we both got ready for bed before climbing in and snuggling up close.

"She is a daddy's girl," he tells me

"Oh I know it' he replied as he kisses me goodnight and holds me close.
