Will and I decided that we would teach our kids about both of our cultures and the major holidays we celebrate.
So we gathered up the kids and headed out to go shopping.
Laylah & Luka are both twins who are England born kids that have American blood from my side. With that said we are doing thanksgiving.
Luka went with Will while Me and Laylah went in another direction to get all that was needed.

I woke up early along with Will we cleaned up and got started on the cooking. Will was in charge of the turkey & stuffing while I was in charge of the rolls, green beans, and mashed potatoes.
"While we waited for the turkey to cook so that the rest could get started Will and I talked about how things in our lives have changed and how we were very thankful to be given what we have.

After everything was cooked and ready to go Will and I went and got the kiddies up got their hands washed and everything before we headed downstairs and let them see our feast.
"Wow, what is all this?" Luka asked
"Well since we are celebrating major holidays in both cultures mommy and I decided that thanksgiving is gonna be celebrated" Will explained.
"We are eating all of this?" Laylah asked
"All that you can stuff in your little bellies" I replied
They both nodded and went over to their seats and waited.
Will and I got started on making them a plate then handed it to them.
"Careful its really hot" I warned
"Don't need you two getting burned" Will says

We sat there and ate before we talked about family things and how the kids are liking this so far.
"I am enjoying learning about different holidays that England doesn't celebrate," Laylah says
"Me too, I am excited to learn that Thanksgiving is the day to get very stuffed like the turkey," Luka says
"Well I am very happy that you both are enjoying this and the other holidays that England doesn't celebrate," I tell them
"Now shall we get really stuffed like the turkey, casue I thank mommy has some dessert for us but only if we eat our food first," Will says
Without anything else being said for a while we all enjoyed our food.

Once we all were done and the rest put up we headed out and went for a walk, before coming back.
I made sure that Luka and Laylah knew that just because we are celebrating this that other people here probably don't since it's not a British holiday.
"So what are you thankful for?" I asked them
"my family" Will replied
"My parents, & brother," Laylah says
"My sis, my parents, and food," Luka says
We all got tickled on that one.
